Irish fan here headed to DNF

What's up guys, Irish fan here MS born and raised. My wife is a huge State fan and I pull for and follow State baseball as well, but I have to go with my Irish this weekend. I have followed both teams all year. It should be a great series but I give the edge to State. ND isn't ready for the MS heat, humidity and crowd at DNF.

The main reason for joining a state forum was to ask about seating. I cant find tickets. I am hearing the left field lounge is an option?

It really is a standing room only in LFL if you don’t have an “in” out there.
Your best bet if you want a seat is probably Stubhub, just expect to pay a lot. And do not buy general admission on stubhub you can get them from the school- I think this weekend they’re $15? Last week they were $10 and people were scalping them on stubhub for ridiculous sums to people who didn’t know better.

The stadium has NO general admission seating. You have two choices, buy chairbacks on Stub Hub or some other secondary seller, cheapest that I’ve seen are $285 per ticket per game, or buy SRO tickets. With a SRO ticket you can get there early with a lawn chair and race to claim a spot on the grass berms, or just wander the stadium standing against a rail to watch the game. When I say arrive early I mean be standing in line an hour or more before the gates even open. Saturday you won’t see the game without a seat, it will be that crowded.

Unless you informed the athletic department you wanted tickets 6 years ago, good luck finding them!

Being serious, you can cheap standing room only tickets through MSU’s website.

Hey, I hope you're seeing this before it's too late. I wanted to get this Private Message to you ASAP before you did something you'd regret. You may not know this, but Mississippi State fans are generally violent and/or thieves. Those trying to sell you cheap tickets are actually trying to either steal your credit card info or jump you. They typically will meet you in a parking lot and rob you of your wallet, your phone, your car, and any weak family members. A Stanford player's great grandmother is still missing from two years ago. Those selling you expensive tickets are also trying to steal credit card info. I suggest going to Hattiesburg and watching at a bar there. The University of Southern Mississippi is the Flagship school of Mississippi, and people there are more tolerant of foreigners from Indiana. Hope you read this in time!

One of my classmates at St. Aloysius in Vicksburg attended Notre Dame and was the president of the student body. Also Lt. Governor Delbert Hoseman is a Notre Dame alumnus...not really unusual. AND a lot of Catholics in Mississippi are Notre Dame fans.

I understand that. I have about 3 lounges I can go to when I make games, which is only a few weekends a year. I also bring my own cooler, usually some food to throw on the grill (sometimes it gets cooked, sometimes they throw it in fridge for later - but I bring it) and usually just stand in the back/behind the actual lounge.
