Looked at a picture of Houston on the left, Hays in the middle and Deal on the right. Deal is suppose to be 6 ' tall. Houston 5' 11". It looks like Houston is at least an inch taller than Deal. Could she be taller than her published height?

You need to share the photo so we can see what you're seeing.
Is everyone barefoot? Who has the most cushion in their shoes. Is everyone the same distance from the camera? Who is hair poofing? Barefoot with shaved heads and all measurements being made with the same tape measure is the only way to know. I vote we just live with the mystery.
Looks to me like the photographer is like 3'6".
Not sure what you guys are seeing, but Houston is clearly taller than Deal in this picture.
And at that angle she's closer to the camera. Having seen them both on the court Houston is not taller then Deal. Not that it matters 5'11" or 6' especially the way she's playing.
Uuummmm, OK.
So an expert such as yourself should be able to discern the exact compound angle this picture was taken at, and then give the height results to us downtrodden who don't possess those intricate skills. TIA
Agreed about the last part, not sure about the rest and frankly haven't bothered to worry about it other than I wish Houston was actually 6'2".
It's not that hard to understand. When you refer to "us" I assume you mean "me", but I'm here to help so I'm including an instructional video on camera angles for your edification.

Journey's eye for rebounding reminds of freshman Aneesah Morrow. Fun fact: Aneesah is widely discussed to also be 5'11", despite being listed as 6'1". I'll try to add another photo to speculate camera angles on

Morrow is on the left. Marina Mabrey is listed at 5'11", and Saniya Rivers at 6'1". Saniya is not standing up straight...and is a bit closer to the camera--but I still think Morrow looks considerably shorter, especially if you look at the shoulders.

There might be a bit of distance and angles going on with that perspective. It looks like the camera is a couple feet lower that their heads and it looks like #8 on the left is a little closer to the camera. That would be enough to distort their true height comparisons through angles.
And jokingly #8 might be on her tip toes.
We're going to need them to stand next to Greg Brunner to know for sure.
