The leading intellectual lights among the Ioa fans are convinced Missouri was desperately afraid to play the mighty birds.Poor Hawks......Mizzou had to bail on the Music City Bowl due to Covid, game canceled. Hawks were playing as well as anyone not named OSU as the season ended.

We could beat them by 100 and they would think they were the better team. Just pitiful .Those clowns think they deserve to be ranked higher than us even after we took their w. I don't care either way if they played their bowl game but no sympathy for them.
I'm not sure if the game in Nashville wouldn't have been cancelled anyway in view of the bombing.Poor Hawks......Mizzou had to bail on the Music City Bowl due to Covid, game canceled. Hawks were playing as well as anyone not named OSU as the season ended.
Had nothing to do with the bombingI'm not sure if the game in Nashville wouldn't have been cancelled anyway in view of the bombing.
I enjoyed the Music City for the win and for staying in the team hotel which was an awesome place to stay in the cold weather (Gaylord Opryland). Got to chat with some players and family there.Of all the bowl games I have been to , I had the best time at the Music City Bowl. The country music talent playing for tips in the honky tonks on Broadway was amazing. Tootsies, Robert's Western World and countless others offered great music , cold beer and people having fun. The bombing may have impacted Lower Broadway and Covid19 may have limited inside activities anyway but give me Nashville for any bowl other than New Year's 6 games
He said anyway. Yes Mizzou cancelled but with the bombing, game would have been problematic anywayHad nothing to do with the bombing

Mystery to me. Perhaps an explanation will be forthcoming. How would the bombing have impacted the game? Looks as if it was an isolated incident.
I don't think the bombing would have impacted the game at all, but pre- or post-game celebrations at Melting Pot, Rodizio, or Coyote Ugly would have been off the table for sure.He said anyway. Yes Mizzou cancelled but with the bombing, game would have been problematic anyway

I think lower Broadway is okay. The police perimeter extended to there but I understand it is going to be shrinking a bit every day as they get the crime scene analyzed and cleaned up. Of course it will be months (if ever) before the establishments I mention above are back in operation, but they're on 2nd Ave, not Broadway.
I don't know. Maybe lockdown of the entire area? This is the kind of security issue that they tend to have to investigate for weeksHow would the bombing have impacted the game? Looks as if it was an isolated incident.
The lockdown area was from James Robertson Pkwy to Broadway, and 4th Avenue to the river. As I say, it's supposed to be shrinking gradually. The stadium is on the opposite side of the river.I don't know. Maybe lockdown of the entire area? This is the kind of security issue that they tend to have to investigate for weeks

Plus, the investigation is essentially over, the culprit has been identified and was killed in the blast, and no lock down is in effect. Our man needs to get over it - the game was canceled due to Missouri's Covid outbreak, and for no other reason. Too bad, because as others have pointed out, it's a great bowl game venue. (Thanks to FloridAlum, I've been to couple of Purple Parties there.)Not according to those who live in Nashville.

Froze my butt off butt fun inside bars and great win!Of all the bowl games I have been to , I had the best time at the Music City Bowl. I think the TV network made them move that game to the night; as a result, we froze. The game has usually been in the afternoon and not all that cold.Froze my butt off butt fun inside bars and great win!
