Of course. I have never posted here but I was feeling sad after losing to Kentucky. Nothing better for sadness than visiting the Nebraska board. Always brightens the day.
You come to the Nebraska board for your sadness? That's a bold strategy. I would recommend staying on the Iowa board and bitching about Ferentz Jr. It's like watching the rich kid run all his dad's used car dealerships into the ground. Fantastic.

Since you are so obsessed, you should just be a Nebraska fan. It’s like Iowa, but with less racism and more championships.
To be fair, dude could be a fan of just about any other NCAA team if he's looking for less racism and more championships. Doesn't have to be Nebraska.

Not once has my first thought been after a tough loss visiting another team's message board.

That’s a valid point. But he’s just sooo obsessed with us already.

Has to be. Just imagine accomplishing nothing your entire existence, while a real program right down the road has 5 National Championships and 46 Conference Championships.
Strange how the Gophers have 7 Natty’s yet never pull the good ol days card like Knebbers does.

Run between the tackles 20 times a game? Had Frost used hom properly he would probably still be there.

He ran the ball 5.75 times per game in 2020 and caught more passes per game than he ran it. He signed up to do both, this poor Wandale had to run the ball nonsense is stupid.

A thoughtful read from one of my former students now at the Daily Iowan.

Opinion | Spencer Petras isn’t Iowa’s answer at QB, but he deserves better from fans

An excerpt:

“It’s very hard not to read it,” Sarah Petras said of remarks about her son. “I’m so glad I don’t do Twitter, because it’s just so brutal. People are just so brutal. No heart at all. They have no trouble speaking their mind because nobody can see them. They’re hurtful. I get screwed up by them. I have to remind myself that it is just people voicing some opinion. It’s hard.”

Gopher fans don't even talk about their national titles since none of them were alive to see those happen since they were from the early 1900's.

Before my time, but 1960, any recall the 1950s?

Minnesota was voted before #1 before the Rose Bowl lose to Washington in the Rose Bowl..Washington was 10-1 that year..
Gophers also lost to Purdue the week after beating Ioway who at the time was rated #1 and finished 8-2..

Unbeaten Missouri lost to Kansas that year, but KU had to forfeit the loss and Missouri beat Navy in the Orange bowl..

Minnesota never won a bowl game or played in a bowl game in all the other leather helmet years when winning their claimed National Titles..

Hope this puts Minnesota stature to rest..

Still doesn't change fact that AP writers crowned Minnesota for the 1960 season and Bud Wilkerson at OU for two in the 1950s.

Minnesota also won the first AP title for 1936.

Two more in 1940s.

1997 - Michigan was awarded in 1997 by AP.

I know all the facts 1940 and 41..both 8-0 but never played in the Rose Bowl..

I might add and NO TWO PlATOON football..

Why bring up Michigan they were voted AFTER the bowl game and Nebraska was voted by the coaches BCS poll..
