Sports are funny, it has become so blatant that refs are trying to add drama to the matchups...

My God Iowa’s offense is awful.
Good
But can Nebraska beat them? I really doubt it after watching the first half of this game. To be fair, Michigan has pretty good talent on defense, neither them nor Iowa are real good on offense.

iowa must have thought the game was at 2:30....

Harbaugh is a horrible game day coach...
Michigan would piss pound Nebraska, so what’s your f**king point? By the way, Iowa would beat the piss out of us too. We are the equivalent to some little wimp who mouths off to bigger kids when their dad is standing next to them to save them from getting their *** beat.

Yeah, get the small digs in now against Herk, but those are still some top defenses squaring off. Some would kill for a 7pt loss in Ann Arbor.

Iowa fan here, I literally called a loss here. Stanley will win one upset game this year and maybe beat Nebraska. Iowa isn’t Wisconsin and I’m sorry Iowa fans rag on you so much. Also, I hope you lose ever game the rest of the season. Ok bye

Okay thanks for the permission, Enjoy your loss.

Sorry, just a realist of how these last few weeks have felt. This one feels good for the home team. I'm just not optimistic after that abysmal performance against a pretty weak Patty Fitz team.

Shut up. This is our board and Iowa is far, far, far from some big dog.

I have no idea why other hawkeye fans are talking ****. We laid an egg offensively. And were probably gonna get smacked around by Penn state if we play this way. But no matter how good or bad Northwestern is they always seem to play Nebraska good. It was a good win in my opinion.

Northwestern beat us last year. And if our offense keeps this up theyll beat us this year

Well, that one aged well....
Every one starting..... now. Lol. Honestly You guys might finally beat Iowa again this year. I wish iowa would send out a ton of offers like you guys (not being facetious) Michigan showed me that sometimes you just need more talent no matter how wel you can develop. wisco and you will be the teams to beat in near future if not already. Which Iowa and NW just come and wreck a few seasons on their way to 8-4 every damn year

Congrats on your win vs northwestern. Husker football on a march to elite again by 2021. You have the right coaching staff in place now.

The Big Ten has a solid array of teams and Ohio State, which could be a College Playoff contender?

Right now, I would put them at #2 nationally. However, going 12-0 isn't easy for young college football athletes. We shall see how it all plays out in October and November.
  1. Ohio State (3-0) - most efficient teams in the Big Ten, with wins over Indiana, Nebraska and Michigan State in B1G ahead of much earned bye week.
  2. Wisconsin (2-0) - the Badgers opened season at UCF, who are projected a 4-8 team in 2019. Beat Michigan and Northwestern at home, with next B1G home game up: Michigan State. The B1G computer schedule certainly front loaded the schedule for the Badgers.
  3. Penn State (2-0) - the Nittany Lions head to Iowa City for a "Golden" Jersey night at Kinnick Stadium. Wins over Maryland and Purdue in the books. This is a B1G game for both teams.
  4. Minnesota (2-0) - the Golden Gophers won at Purdue and over Illinois. The Golden Gophers host Nebraska next in a B1G West game!
  5. Michigan State (2-1) - the Spartans lost at Ohio, and have wins over Northwestern and Indiana to start Big Ten play. Next up: 2nd of back to back road games against #1 and #2 in the Big Ten. Go Spartans Go!
  6. Michigan (2-1) - the Wolverines are undefeated at home, but ugly loss in Madison two weeks ago. The 10-3 win over Iowa was good for momentum, but offense and special teams leave questions lingering.
  7. Nebraska (2-1) - the Huskers have won at Ilinois and over Northwestern, with an ugly loss over Ohio State. Road trip to Minnesota could put Huskers back on track in the West race with a win!
  8. Iowa (1-1) - the Hawkeyes have a long road ahead with Penn State next. QB Nate Stanley and the O-Line were out of sync at Michigan. A lot of teams haven't faired well in Ann Arbor during the Jim Harbaugh era.
  9. Maryland (1-1) - the Terps have been blanked at home by Penn State, then became the third B1G to beat Rutgers, who finally scored a TD. Winnable road trip next: at Purdue
  10. Indiana (0-2) - the Hoosiers are coming off bye week, after earlier B1G losses against Ohio State and Michigan State. Next up: vs. Rutgers!
  11. Illinois (0-2) - the Fighting Illini return to Champaign in time to host Michigan, after a near win over the Huskers and a clear loss at Minnesota.
  12. Purdue (0-2) - the Boilermakers have lost back to back to Minnesota and Penn State to open Year 3 under Jeff Brohm. Home date with Maryland is next, but plenty of injuries have the Boilers in flux.
  13. Northwestern (0-3) - the Wildcats see the shoe on the other teams foot, after a game ending FG by Nebraska finishes with their third straight B1G loss, after Michigan State and Wisconsin. Bye week: then Friday night game under the lights in Evanston against Ohio State!
  14. Rutgers (0-3) - not a pretty start for a program lead under an interim position coach, who came from the NJ prep coaching ranks. Fire Chris Ash did see the Scarlet Knights score first TD in B1G play. Long season ahead.
Not really a power ranking. Took it looking at Big Ten records. Another week of shuffling ahead?
