***** Iowa vs Washington Game Thread*****

[Moral]

What are these plays Lester is drawing up to get people wide open in the endzone?

The secret plays he has been storing up. Can't believe we are going to waste them on Washington.

[Sett1997]

Is there any question who our qb needs to be? Lol

[Hawklove]

Plenty of threads aging like room temp milk tonight

[85Bears]

NIU could score on this defense.

No. Their d is actually pretty decent, credit our offense

[r_desihawk]

i don’t know if washinton has a **** pass d or have we always had guys running free but nobody to throw to them?

[2D]

Heck looks very much in control right now. Coaches may have some things to think about over the bye.

[Hawk48]

Why would you go back to Hank Brown ?

Ferentz will, just wait and see

[Wobmam Rulez!]

This is going to be a W!

[QChawks]

Nice bounce back. The Wash D is a dumpster fire.

When you have to sell out and try to stop the run, you’re gonna leave guys open

[85Bears]

So, did Iowa bungle another QB competition this summer?

I’ll admit I didn’t think either of them were good, but after last week and this week….Hecklinski is the guy.

No we are 5-1

[Heathen Raider]

Defense needs to get a stop now and end Washingtons hopes , Comn Phil

[BlIIlken2]

The crazy thing about Heck is you can tell Wash has clearly game planned on the running dynamic and it opens EVERYTHING up on offense. He is throwing just as well as Hank but things are just flowing way better with Tim’s offense. He is the QB1 for sure.

Washington CB came on a blitz... No one anywhere close to cover the WR.

Nothing dialed up on that one. Just BAD defense.

Some really nice calls on that drive though

There should be nothing to think about. Unless he turns into a an absolute pumpkin he’s the guy.

[like-woahh]

I'm starting to think that TD drive by Heck against OSU wasn't just because they were playing soft due to the score.

Hank’s injury will take time to heal. He may need a couple months.

[MacMiney]

That was the blownest coverage I've ever seen.

ANF guys said the Wash secondary was suspect I believe. Maybe understated just a bit.

[LetsGoHawks83]

Every run play by Washington is just a free play for us. Keep chewing that clock Washington

[WDSMHawk]

Every time Washington tries to run it's a gift to Iowa

[DuddyB]

A lot of us are going to be real disappointed when Hank gets the start in 2 weeks…

[Hawksfor3]

Heck 12/17 for 160. KM 18/161 and a TD.

[HawkBall23]

Getting him timed up ...........

INT coming soon.

[ConvenientParking]

Is it bad I've never heard of our safety

[TRHawkeye28]

Good D Stiles!

Yea funny how they "let up" like that, after Day barked about staying focused after what happened at TX.

[SeenItAllBefore]

INT coming up?

[Grayhair1981]

4 seconds. Zero pressure

[AndreTheHawk]

Hecklinski body is worse but his brain better. It is becoming obvious.

We've scored 34 points, still in the middle of the 3rd quarter, against a Big Ten team, and on the West Coast to boot. None of this makes any sense.

[85Bears]

That spot was bullshlt

[Manfredi]

No. Their d is actually pretty decent, credit our offense

Their D isn't that great but I agree with you....if their D is that bad why did our offense score more on them in 2 1/2 quarters than Minny or USC in a full game.

[Doctor Hawktagonapus]

GENEROUS spot

[Hawksfor3]

Damn.

[HawkBall23]

Bad spot on that first down mark.

Gave him an extra half a yard on the spot.

[HuskerTherapist]

Refs only have flags for PI it seems

[MFinn]

Well...... yeah, I guess if you want to call that....

[Rambler Hawk]

Why would you go back to Hank Brown ?

Hopefully they don't...

[85Bears]

Officials trying to make this a game

[LetsGoHawks83]

Call a damn HOLD

[Anon1750875978]

Told you guys...#3 and #11 are real shaky.

[2D]

Shootout from here on out.
