***** Iowa vs Washington Game Thread*****

[RagnarLothbrok]

I’m so tired of ultra conservative play.

Why give Washington life? Seriously. Kirk, you play right into their hands doing this sh*t. Didn’t learn a thing from the Ohio State game. Probably won’t matter this game, but still…

[LetsGoHawks83]

I just don't understand WTF Kirk is thinking going turtle mode. Just effing BRAIN DEAD

[2D]

Can't believe we turtled at the precise moment when we shouldn't have. What a foolish decision by the coaching staff.

[85Bears]

Ries might be the mvp

[Doctor Hawktagonapus]

Washington doesn't want the points

[HawkBall23]

This game is (at least) 34-3 at the half with a different HC on the sidelines for Iowa.

Couldn't even wait until the 2nd half to go full on turtle mode.

[MFinn]

We should have called timeout after they clocked it to get things under control. We dodged one there.

[RagnarLothbrok]

2nd half KF Turtle Ball?

Starting early.

[Phat Stax]

We can forget those last 2 minutes happened and be happy with the first half.

[85Bears]

against a prevent D it's totally possible

Fisch is also a dumbass

And at USC last year. Of course I could give examples for the last 20+ years

[QChawks]

That last offensive series was so awful

you can’t just stop playing up three scores

[RoseBowlorBust]

Almost a perfect half on the road on the WEST COAST. Incredible

[LetsGoHawks83]

Captain Turtle tried his hardest to give ALL the momentum back to Washington.

Another score was very possible there...and they get the ball to start the 2nd.

JUST DUMB

[Ty7]

Announcers gushing over a QB throwing against prevent D.

"Took our foot off the gas" - Kirk 10/9/26

It’s 27-3. I love you dude but SHUT THE **** UP

Now that's moving the goalposts

With how previous west coast games have gone, any points there would've been a massive red flag. Keeping momentum has been the name of the game on the west coast. Kirk acts like we're playing Purdue when we go up a few TDs, but these west coast offenses can score in 2 minutes. That's why I'll keep repeating all gas no breaks all night.

[longliveCS40]

I don't think their starting QB is coming back. He looked hurt hurt walking off.

[RagnarLothbrok]

Kirk just said they let their foot off the gas. Lol.

[Manfredi]

Moulton with 141 yards

[Passing Is For COMMIES]

Well Heck looks good, but this Washington team is so awful it’s hard to put a ton of stock into it.

QB controversy in full effect though, unless Heck has a disastrous second half.

Lol

[shiphappens]

Great half with the exception of the 2 minutes of coaching dumbassery at the end of the half.

[BigOHawk1]

Their right tackle jumped.

Several times false starts on o line

Easy to look good against this Washington defense. Yikes.

KF responds ....

[wilson reborn]

27-3. Hawks dominant. Keep it up in the second half and we’ll be back in the playoff discussion. Now for some Makers Mark.

[MFinn]

Kirk just said they let their foot off the gas. Lol.

That means he reads the game threads.

[Hawk48]

RG3 is an idiot.

Williams didn't make ANYONE miss, his blocker got just enough of a chip to allow him to get outside to look for the open receiver.

seems to be, he never shuts up

Free me, O Lord, from political ads.

[uihawk82]

Keep up the pressure both ways. Mix it up. Some great play calls by Lester. the 2nd TD pass had a fake up the middle, a fake end around reverse, and man Wash defenders looked like those people at the baseball games who run around the bats and get dizzy.

[RagnarLothbrok]

It’s 27-3. I love you dude but SHUT THE **** UP

Lol

[BlIIlken2]

For those who say Washington sucks

Is it too early for chips and salsa?

[RoseBowlorBust]

Lol

He is right. Shut up

[Anon1681859870]

Will Kirky score again? Will Phil stop the new QB from putting up Heisman numbers? We get to watch it playout...
