And this is why you decide on a QB and then f*cking stick with it. Different throwing styles, different timing, different arm strength/zip on passes, different everything.

Exactly...why we keep running patterns short of the sticks...ugh

It's one thing to have a route short of the sticks, but catching it on the run, so you can get YAC.... But that was run out 4 yards and stop... Unless the plan was to go for it on 4th and 1...

The Iowa playbook must be written up on notecards, instead of actual full pages of paper.

That's why the routes are always ran short of the sticks on mid-to-short 3rd downs, because there is only so much available space to demonstrate how far to run the route vs how much it actually should be done.
