The Hawkeyes (16-5, 6-5) travel to Seattle to take on the Huskies (12-10, 4-7).

Iowa looks to try and close out the west coast trip with a win. The Huskies are not a great team but they don’t get blown out either. They stayed within 10 points of Michigan, Illinois Nebraska, USC and UCLA.

I’m sticking with my original prediction of a Hawkeyes loss 76-68

Under Fran McCaffery's leadership, the Hawks lose this game 105-90 tonight. UW likely still cools off from distance, but they would have gotten whatever else they wanted everywhere else on the court in the 2nd half.

Debate it all you want, but historical facts would likely back me up on that.

Cooper actually did a fairly decent job on Steinbach defensively, imo.

Can't teach size though.

Coop was whistled on a phantom call in the 2nd half when he played great D and provided no contact with Steinbach in forcing a miss from a couple feet away from the basket.

After a blistering first half by the Huskies shooting 80%, their final FG% was 57% and ours was 60%.

Sunday game vs NW. these guys deserve a loud full house. Getting close to that 19-5 before hosting Purdue.

I heard the Purdue game is sold out. Hopefully they can win the next 2 (they should) and go into that Purdue game with a ton of momentum. Should be a great environment regardless.

What's nice is I'm at the point where I'm starting to expect it. With UW shooting out of their minds and Iowa only being down 7 I honestly wasn't that worried.
