So... did the hatchet get buried or will there be staff fireworks?
There will ALWAYS be fireworks.
Was no real situation going on at all fans made that up.
A hatchet is never truly buried until defeat is conceded. That won't ever happen and it won't take much to ignite the emotions. Nothing less should be expected of alpha type competitors.
That will be an insane environment. It's the right call to do the 1st one at UNI, also.
Already got me in the subscription roller coaster ride. Imagine will need ESPN or ESPN + early in the year and then have to decide if should keep through to Nattys or drop and add. Love this is happening, would be nice to have a annual triangular with Clowns and rotate every year.

Tom told the story at an I club mtg about the last time he tried to schedule with Schwab , held the date and Schwab didn't respond ,so he filled the date and Schwab complained to his athletic director,who called Iowa athletic director.I will say Tom was laughing about it, but he indicated he wasn't in any rush to schedule with them. So I guess 15 years go by and it's just fans making it up ?

Glad they are having a dual again. Kinda dumb they stopped, especially for so long.

I think its already been announced that it will be on Flo
Flo says it is not in UNI season pass. It is stand alone event and tx will go on sale Aug 5.
It's about time for this dual. Way overdue IMHO.
I believe that stronger UNI and Clone teams make for stronger Iowa teams in the long run.

UNI teams always wrestle hard, but this won’t be a close dual in any way. Will still be fun, and a great environment. Glad it’s back on the schedule!
Unless you go by actions. Nobody is making up the fact that this is a long time coming. And it’s something the fans have wanted. So, what’s changed?
I think theres a chance Waylon Cressell goes at 74 or 84 especially with 5 for 5 he looked pretty good at U20 trials gave returning all american brock mantanona all he wanted and lost by criteria in the semis
It's cool we are going to wrestle UNI in the Dome, but I don't quite get why many are so excited about it.
UNI will be pumped for the Hawks to come to town, they will give a great effort, and we will very convincingly beat them.
A couple years of good beatings from the Hawks and they won't be real interested in putting us on the schedule.
But of course, it will always be Iowa's fault if the dual does not happen.

CBU dropped us from their schedule so we had an opening.
Sadly, CBU dropped everyone from their schedule.
Come on man. It won't be the beatings and bonus points we hand Bellarmine and UTC.
It's great for the state, it's great for the sport and the matches will be competitive and fun to watch. The final score is going to suck for UNI - but Dougie makes them tough as hell.
I know Doug will have his guys fired up and ready to go.
Maybe part of the problem is I don't dislike UNI like I do isu.
I will cheer for a UNI guy as long as they aren't facing a Hawkeye.
I'm just not as excited about this as most are.
