*****Iowa vs Minnesota Game Thread*****

[uihawk82]

ok tied up, and the hawk defense is really hitting hard, minny qb is very unsettled for a 5th year guy because the hawk Dee is clamping down

Need to get the passing game going to back them off as they have 8 in the box a lot

[Hawk48]

FIFY

Hopefully this will at least shut up the “Kirk always picks the wrong quarterback” crowd.

still a question who is the better QB IMO

[HoggI74]

We look like Michigan did all day...

[Hurricane88]

I do not care how ugly this game is. Just win!!

[Hawkfan_08*]

Pillow fight

More like rock fight. A pillow fight would mean no defense.

[ajdl]

Heck is playing with fire

He should have 2 ints right now....

*3

[HawkeyeFever]

Commercial breaks are so long when the game is on a fox channel.

[EvilMonkeyInTheCloset]

Starts in Gopher territory... successful fake punt and now an interception deep in Gopher territory. It's a score or time for something different.

Say touchdown because otherwise they might misinterpret it and f*** around and settle for 3, if they don't turn it over.........

[ottumwan in tx]

I blame Beth

[Opie Oids]

Just turned a golden opportunity into a golden shower

[NIhawk79]

If Iowa only gets 3 here, after all this ....

Gonna be so pizzed.

Sad to say Hawks were lucky to get 3

[QChawks]

The game has been so bad, I’m looking forward to the commercials now

[ChicagoHawk2020]

Diaz already has his visits lined up for his next team.

[EvilMonkeyInTheCloset]

Our OL needs to wake the fook up

Been that way all season.

[85Bears]

Need to bring Deacon back

[Hawkfan_08*]

Just got home. Is it fugly?

Indeed. Had one nice drive and threw a pick on the 2.

[Rambler Hawk]

Playing for the FG

Sadly, we were already in FG position...

[MAXIMUSHAWKEYE]

It's been 10 years of missing wide open dudes. How does it keep happening. It aint scheme

He didn't miss wide open dudes at Wash. But his play so far today sucks

[WDSMHawk]

Kicking Lester's *** right now. Embarrassing

Idk we'd have 14+ points if Heck had hit Diaz on either of the deep balls he was open on.

[ajdl]

In FG range already, why run on 3rd and 15?

Because Heck is a moron who throws into double coverage. Our QBs are a joke

[2D]

Not surprised Heck is struggling against the 2nd best Pass Defense in the B1G against B1G opponents. Hank wouldn't do any better. This isn't Washington who was sleep walking all game. The OLine isn't getting the holes the run game needs and Minny is selling out on stopping it.

[HawkBall23]

Sad to say Hawks were lucky to get 3

But oh so predictable.

[LetsGoHawks83]

Only Iowa can start a drive at the opponents 11 and white knuckle their way to a FG.

[uihawk82]

still a question who is the better QB IMO

I would say Hank because Heck is looking rough. I think Hank puts a little touch on the pass to Diaz for an early TD and hits Diaz again on the post pattern for another TD.

[Doctor Hawktagonapus]

Throwing to routes 12 yards and under is not downfield.

Diaz was wide open for touchdowns twice, and Heck missed the throws. Coaches called the plays.

[HawkeyeFever]

Let's kick it off and go to another 10 minute commercial break

[Rambler Hawk]

Big ten west pillow fight.

[EvilMonkeyInTheCloset]

Minnesota's extra driving and piling on and twisting Moulton was finally enough to knock him out of the game........

I'm sure @IowaLaw already has notes on trashing Moulton for this game.

[r_desihawk]

everyone saying this game would be a blow out win for iowa was the perfect indicator of opposite

[HawkinAnk74]

Imagine the outrage if Brown had made that pass.

Same one you are getting for Heck missing a wide open guy. Jeebus man, they both have choke problems.

[Hawkfan_08*]

Effff!

[Rambler Hawk]

In FG range already, why run on 3rd and 15?

Lmao, I know, right?

[Hawksfor3]

Let's get another pick.

[PinkShizzle]

Haven't tuned in to the game yet but will soon. Judging by the comments, its been really damn ugly.

Glad to see its 3-3 based upon the tone of the board.

Edit to say ugly for the offense but solid for the D. So, BAU?

[Sett1997]

The game has been so bad, I’m looking forward to the commercials now

[HawkBall23]

Maybe this is the Oregon vs NEB game plan .....

Let Minny think they're gonna win for 3.5 quarters before finally "waking up".

[ottumwan in tx]

Hank looks like josh Allen compared to this first half by heck

[Denmar]

Gets the tip while being held

[Doctor Hawktagonapus]

Luckily Lindsey is a bum too

[UIAlumFireFighter]

Diaz already has his visits lined up for his next team.

I would
