I hope it’s 11. I’m tired of the night games.
There are literally no B1G game times announced for that weekend. Not really any marquee matchups; best games are Ill-Wash and UCLA-Ind. No clue as to when Iowa's game might be. Announcement should come in 1-2 days.
It'll definitely be at 11 a.m.

Definitely Big Noon Kick Off with the Peej in IC. Hate that guy. Would love to tighten his tie so he can’t breath and his head pops like a pimple.
11 am sucks especially watching on the west coast time zone.
Night games suck when you don’t get home until midnight or later. Not to mention waiting around all day for the game to start.
Once upon a time, all the home games were 1:05 kickoff. Perfect gameday.
If I had to guess I’d say this game feels like a 3pm fs1. Hoping we get one of those 230-3 for a nice fall Saturday game.
Just announced game time won't be determined until after the penn state outcome. Will be 11am or 230pm.

That was long before every game was televised. Yes, I'm that old.
Sadly, I remember you could watch the replays of the non televised games at 10 Saturday night on my local Fox station back when Fox was new.
The 11:00, 2:30 configuration kicked in once ESPN and other cable outlets began to carry multiple games following the Supreme Court ruling on "decentralization" which allowed schools and conferences to negotiate their own TV deals.
Prior to that it was a big deal for your team to be televised.

Aaaahh...the old tape delay games. As a kid I remember trying to avoid the score all day so that I could watch without knowing the outcome.
That's also back in the day when people with the huge satellites on their property could pull in some of our road games. Arizona and Miami comes to mind. Also a Hawaii game as I recall.
Who waits around for a night game? I don't consider 8 hours of drinking beer "waiting around".

The biggest revelation from this is they haven't scheduled the Wisconsin Oregon game for Wednesday night.
Do you recall the color guys name? I know he was an ex player and his son was a linebacker on the team. Every time his kid made a tackle he called him " Son Jim'.
Absolutely remember that. I was surprised that no one told him to tone that down a bit.

I'm talking about early Hayden days. Kickoff was traditionally 1:05. Few games were on TV. No more than 4 or 5 on a given Saturday. (hard to believe isn't it?).
The boom in TV games began in the mid/late 80s and grew into the 90s.
Pretty much universal with the onset of November and “shorter days”… even before the days of DST.
Lights at Kinnick have changed this dynamic. Back in the day, before lights were installed (before Musco) kick-off was moved from 1:30 to 1:00 every November 1st. Pretty much conference-wide.
