*****Iowa vs Illinois NCAAT Game Thread*****

[Anychawk]

Guys don't worry everybody is playing great. Not a mistake has been made

[Doctor Hawktagonapus]

Everyone but Sage and Stirtz are afraid to shoot

[Moral]

Every inspirational sports movie has a little adversity.

[Hawkedup]

how the hell are we winning this game? Ugly ball by iowa

[2D]

Hawks totally out of sync. Cam not doing a thing out there.

[QChawks]

Wow

made an inside basket

[Hawkfan_08*]

Should have the lead at half with a million turnovers.

[RagnarLothbrok]

Manyau is worthless. Get him out now!!

JFC

[HawkBall23]

Coach better hammer them on TIGHTENING UP THE PASSING and HOLDING ON TO POSSESSIONS at halftime.

[NIhawk79]

Take stirtz out. 30 seconds left.

[MAKhawks]

Cam was HUGE there.

[Grayhair1981]

WTF is with the passing?

[Sett1997]

Fouls 8-3. Lol

[hawkeyewx]

Still playing great defense, but holy moly they need to stop passing like the Iowa women.

[maxpain]

Nice job! Get some confidence Manyawu. If he takes those easy buckets it will take a lot of pressure of the guards.

[Manfredi]

Don't like the lineup with Howard and Cam in there...neither are confident shooting it so it limits options

"Just concentrate..... Just a little bit"

JFC

He is ALMOST worthless..

[Buffalo43]

Sage is like a new wild buck but glad to have him as he matures

Thursday we played a beautiful game against Nebraska. Today we’re going to have to win ugly against Illinois.

[HawkBall23]

Hawks totally out of sync. Cam not doing a thing out there.

[Franisdaman]

We clean these turnovers up? We are heading to Indy.

[UIAlumFireFighter]

Wow

made an inside basket

It’s a ******* miracle

Combs with 2 fouls. Just get to half.

Need Coop to get some shots

[GeorgePeeples2]

Illini have missed something like their last 8 shots. Including some bunnies.

[Mitch122_rivals]

Want to know something funny? The refs actually think Illinois has only fouled 3 times this entire half.

[Hawk-A-Doodle-Doo]

Ben's pissed. Stay away from the locker room!

Remove all pens....now!

Howard has done zilch to help the team in this one.

[Sett1997]

He is ALMOST worthless..

Really? Come on, be better.

[HoggI74]

It’s a ******* miracle

Cam dove and saved the ball and gets the layup...

Which could bode well for the second half if Iowa can figure that out. Iowa will need to play at an even higher level if they hope to stave off Illinois.

[Hawkedup]

WTF is with the passing?

even though we came out firing, we look nervous right now. Get to halftime with a lead and call that a good thing.

[QChawks]

great D

[Anychawk]

Thank you, another about a million steps from them

[Jonesy5960]

Some uncharacteristic turnovers but overall a great half for the Hawks. They're right where they need to be.

[Ty7]

FINALLY CALLED A DAMN TRAVEL

[MAKhawks]

Check the clock

more than 1.5

[Doctor Hawktagonapus]

Finally

[LetsGoHawks83]

GREAT DEFENSE.

Could call offensive foul on that sh*t

[maxpain]

Howard can D up. Locked him down.
