I don't think either team wants to risk a loss, if this is the case. ISU will be playing Presbyterian in December. Nebraska will play Akron.
I think ISU has a really good shot at playing in their conference championship game anyway.
We aren't refunding 90,000 tickets. Oh, and the first "K" in Kerkhoff is pronounced like a "J." Must be a German thing.

Either way Nebraska wants 7th home game not a neutral field site..
I am pretty sure IF we have enough wins to be bowl eligible, the make-up game would be 50-50 at best. Yes there are a lot of behind the scenes things that make this make-up game a TBD that have been discussed here at length.
But one thing I am 99.9% confident of is that we would not play on a neutral site. Its a home game for our team and our fans. How many times have we as fans said after a bowl game loss, "well, things would be different if we could play a southern team up north in December or January and the outcome would have been different."
