Purdue up ten at first half under four but I think Iowa will make a run at them.

At this point we would want Purdue to win and move Iowa a full game behind us. (Iowa has the tiebreaker against us). Then Saturday we need to beat Illinois. Indiana and Michigan play Saturday so one will move to 9-5 and the other to 8-6. I want us to be tied for second at 9-5!!

I was just commenting that Iowa torches the nets against us and then can't hit the broad side of a barn against Purdue.

How the hell did we beat Purdue? One more example of how the transitive property is meaningless in sports, lol.

The frosh guard Smith is killing Iowa. They are doubling and tripling Edey and Purdue is passing out of it and finding open looks.

Looks like Purdue finally remembered Zach Edey is on the team.

For 35 minutes, Iowa has done a very good job on Edey. Last two times down the floor he has converted.

Rebraca, Murray, C. McCaffery, and Perkins together average about 17 FTA per game. Tonight they've gotten 4.

I thought vulnerable too. Baylor? UCLA ? Marquette? Who else presses good enough? I thought Murray was able to go around him. Maybe Indiana.

Now if Ohio State can somehow remember what 2022 was like, maybe they could win this and keep NW a game behind us in the standings. Hard to think they'll be any worse than 0-9 from the arc in the second half...

In another game USF has 4 fouls in the first 54 seconds verses Gonzaga.

Sounds like B1G ref's working an Iowa game.

Happened to randomly turn on the wvu-Iowa state game last night. Fouls were Iowa state-7 and wvu-5…..with 16:09 left to go in the 2nd half

As would be expected, Iowa also got hammered on the boards 43 to 23. Edey, 14reb and Furst, 10reb, combined for more rebounds than the entire Iowa team.
