I agree. The Big Ten West is a dog **** division and yet Frost will still manage to finish near the bottom.

For beating us like everyone else will except North Dakota and maybe scoring more than 7 against us. Serious question though who’s worse our defense or Petras?

Right. And that’s why it’s stupid for Iowa fans to revel in any other fan base’s misery. At this point, Nebraska is in better shape than Iowa because they will have renewed hope when the calendar turns to October. Unless Kirk does the right thing and retires at the end of the year, Iowa is stuck with the Ferentzes for the foreseeable future.
Nebraska is ranked #89. Ahead of Penn State, Indiana, and NW. I don’t know if that’s updated after today’s game, but not quite the worst.

Oh like I said, I know Petra’s is really bad, but to his defense he only has one scholarship WR that’s healthy. Now NE’s defense is otherworldly bad and not missing major pieces, so NE is the correct answer.
Just out of curiosity, have you seen Petras play this year? The guy can literally not complete a sideline throw. I’m not exaggerating. Almost every ball to the sideline sails at least two feet over the intended receiver’s head.
Healthy receiving corp or not, that is not fixable.
I actually liked the Nebraska teams of the ‘90s. We ran a wishbone in high school, so I really enjoyed that style of play. It’s a shame what Nebraska football has become.
So did many Iowa fans who are ready for the Kirk and Brian show to leave town.
Yeah, it’s really that bad. No hyperbole. Receivers have gotten open, Petras just airmails nearly every sideline throw.
