While the B1G and Big 12 have been woofing this season, the Pac 12 is quietly dominating the tournament. The "we can't see them on ESPN" bias comes to the fore.

The B1G was vastly overrated this year. It happens, next year it could be the ACC or even the PAC.

There's no disputing that the B1G was overrated this year, but I'm not really sure it would've changed much other seeding. I think RU and Maryland still would've made it. I guess MSU might not have been in instead someone like Louisville, but RU and Maryland both won games.

A lot of the B1G is still playing 90’s style basketball. They can get away with it only if the matchups are favorable. Often, they are not.

Dana Altman continues to be one of the most underrated coaches in the country.

He is 689-352 in D1 for a .662 winning pct and has 23 20-win seasons including 22 of the past 23 years. That’s incredible.

Not really Iowa. Yes, they have Garza but they get up and down the floor and can really shoot.

EO going to the sweet 16. And keep in mind if he had stayed at RU, he would have been done after last season. Although we are all disappointed by it, fate has treated him well with this decision to transfer. Can't say I'm happy for him but there you have it.

I didn't watch - Bohannon with 0 points on only four shots taken? Yeesh, what a tough end to his career. At least I hope he decides to do something else with his life. He is going to be 24 in June.

Can't sugar coat it. The B1G had a lousy showing regardless of what happens with Michigan and Maryland.

Except if he stayed he needed a redshirt which was on the table. So if he stayed and red shirted he would have played this year.

Iowa showed today that they still don't play very good defense. Eugene played really well especially being so tough against Garza. He even hung in and again took at least one charge. He passed the ball back out sometimes which he didn't do too often when at RU. Oregon looked really good and the PAC 10 seems to have been under appreciated this season. They are doing very well. I am glad Garza will not be at Iowa next year.

Pac 12 doing very well is actually understating it. I don't think they've lost one yet. They have a decent shot at putting 4-5 teams in the final 16.

B1G refs protected the projected chosen ones in league play.

When you can bang with impunity against perceived 'lesser' conference foes all season long and get used to racking up wins you don't deserve it's a shock to the system when you attempt to do it with an unbiased crew and all of the sudden you have to play by the rules or, heaven forbid, your status isn't respected and calls go both ways.

I didn't see enough of Michigan this season to know if this is their truth but I saw enough of Iowa, Illinois and OSU to know what caused their collapse.

I agree that the B1G refs are part of the problem but Garza dominated today - 36 pts and 9 rebounds. 3/5 of his starting lineup didn't score today.

I watched a lot of Pac 12 basketball, in general it hasnt been good basketball, it is completely stunning what is going on. Oregon State had 2 Quad 4 losses including a loss to one of the worst schools in all of D1 Portland. You have to wonder if some of the Power conference schools wore themselves out this year with alot more physical play. Its not just the Big 10.

But matchups are a thing. Syracuse not a great team but got a favorable 6 in San Diego State and then elevated their game in round 2..thats the thing, once you get that first win, you make your own history and all bets are off. Schools are riding the wave to the Sweet 16. I watched Oral Roberts barely win their conference tourney on ESPN and look at them now

The B1G has had many good results in the tournament over the years with the same type of officiating, so I'm not really buying this. Garza has scored as much or more in OOC games as he did within the conference. Tournament ball is almost always officiated differently than conference ball. The old Big East in the '80s was one of the most physical conferences I've ever seen — they even had a six-foul rule for a while — and they did very well in the NCAAs.

It was overrated because four teams were seeded so high because of domination of the other ten B1G teams.

Syracuse is always tough to play against if you don't see them often. Boeheim has played that 2-3 forever and recruits to fit the system. That's why he can bring a team with 10-11 losses into the tourney and win a game or two. Teams that play him twice a year in a league eventually figure it out.
