Next time we’re looking at 3rd and 2 inside the 50, just have carter put up a long ball to Melton. Toss it downfield and let Melton try to win it at or near the end-zone. Be like a punt if it doesn’t work. If it does, it gives Carter some confidence.

Ash playing the field position game with Iowa is going to be a lost cause. We're not taking any chances. O well back to the conservative ways I guess.
I disagree. He has been terrible. Can’t have the field position we have had and not score at all.
We've seen this before. Had the ball mid field all quarter. Can't get a 1st down and at least get 3pts. Can't last.

Probably smart of Iowa to go for it. Our O has done nothing. So low risk with high reward of wearing out our D if they get the 1st.

The offense, really Carter, is putting too much pressure on the defense. How long do you expect the defense to hold up with support?
