Unless they were considering us purely as a TV market, then the laughter is somewhat understandable. There’s no reason for football fans of other schools to know much about RU besides football (such as academics or even that we fit in the Big Ten university-profile-wise).

And RU is not considered a big time football program by anybody but RU fans. A few good seasons under Schiano (part one) isn’t going to sway non-RU fan’s minds.

To get respect, we need to win something. And to get more than momentary respect, we need to win consistently. Just how it is.

Hopefully we can get there under Schiano part two.

Yea that one iowa poster is really locked in to Rutgers. I think hes spot on with everything too
