boy that is a dead crowd at Indiana
what a great job by Fran...this Iowa team was pretty bad last year. I dont like RU chances against a great shooting team like Iowa
Sure - but they don't play defense.
Any team that consistently scores more than 70 points is a difficult match up for Rutgers.boy that is a dead crowd at Indiana

This tells me we should play zone defense almost exclusively, the way Iowa does. Why? Because we are virtually tied with them for the worst scoring defense in the league yet they are ranked as a Top 20 team based on their ability to score. Then neither do we.
In Big Ten games, Iowa is allowing 108.9 points per 100 possessions, worst in the conference. Rutgers is 13th at 108.0 points per 100.
Good we win by .9 points. I'll take it, now if I can only figure out how we score .9 points we'd be all set. Then neither do we.

Sadly, the offense needs shooters more than tears but you still merit a like.:joy::joy::joy::joy:
understatementThat points per 100 would be a disaster if we didn’t have solid rebounding on the boards
But we do. Stats would be different if teams weren't good at certain things.Greene
I’m mostly concerned that we are now causing less than 10 turnovers per game

My thinking is that by playing zone they save their legs and energy for more offensive production. We actually have guys who can shoot and who can score, but we may be burning them out too much on the defensive end which is hurting their offense.
