Iowa opens as three point favorites. I don’t expect Iowa to beat Nebraska this weekend. I think Iowa sits in a zone and Tanner Lee picks Iowa apart. Iowa won’t keep up with Nebraska on the score board and it will end up being something like 27-19 Nebraska.

Make no mistake, it might be the worst loss in Kirk’s tenure and I think you guys could agree with that.

i imagine you can figure out a way to score on iaco and your DL will be better than the dancing bears on our OL. that said, your secondary seems putrid and other than the ohio st game, your offense is putrid. should be quite a pillow fight.

Iowa overlooked Purdue, they were clearly thinking about the Nebraska game. The problem with this game is the Nebraska defense, they won't do enough to win, but I'd be happy as heck if they can.

It will be the team that lost to Purdue, NW, MSU, etc. The one that won’t hardly score many points. Kirk literally said he doesn’t know the answer to why they played so well against OSU but have stunk since.

Sounds so strange to say this, but if Nebraska wins, in a way I will be so seriously pissed off, knowing we’re 1 game away from bowl eligibility.

I, for one, appreciate your humility and telling us something we'd like to believe, but right now there may not be any B1G team that we can beat. Seriously. This defense is the worst on record of any one I have seen in 50 yrs. JMO Iowa 41 NU 14

While I agree we don't we beat Iowa, be careful getting in the way of an old man coming out of a donut shop. After two hours of caffeine, sugar and bitching about the world going to hell, they can be pretty feisty.

I had more confidence in Nebraska last season and look how that turned out. Iowa fan won’t agree, so save it Iowa fan, but the game against Nebraska means a ton to Iowa players, Iowa will play like they did against tOSU and so will Nebraska.

Put 8 in the box and run blitz every down. Every team except Iowa St. and Ohio State has done this all year. And also the Iowa coaching staff has yet to figure out the 3-4 defense.

There is no way Iowa wins this pillow fight! The Ohio State game was a fluke. Nebraska has good receivers and a good QB. Iowa has receivers that couldn't catch a cold except the TEs... Lost a lot of faith in our coaches as of late. It's bad when our defense can out score our offense in the last two weeks!

NU has the worst defense in the BIG10 and among the worst in all of FBS. Iowa will score at least 40 and doubt NU will be able near that number

Nebraska will lose because Iowa will run the ball and NU can't stop the run. Just like last year, the focus is on the Nebraska QB but the Iowa RB will be running wild.

Losing to a likely non bowl bound Purdue team on Senior Day is a worse loss.

This is the worst Nebraska defense I have seen since memory kicked in In 1970(I'm 54)no way we win this game if Iowa commits to the run.But I'm taking the kids because tickets will be going up next year when frost takes Over.I hope I'm wrong and they flip the script.I was at the Northern Illinois game.It was as bad as I have ever seen that day

The good thing for Nebraska is that Iowa is the worst offense they will face all season. We don’t have a dual threat QB like Minnesota. Iowa sucks against the 3-4 and the offense has been atrocious on the road. The fact that the spread is basically a pick em on a neutral field tells me Vegas thinks it’s gonna be a very close game.

Just like every year, Iowa and NU fans are arguing about who's gonna win the game. But this is the first year Iowa fans are picking Nebraska, and Nebraska fans are picking Iowa...
It says a lot when we're actually arguing that, "our team sucks more than your team!"

It also says a lot when one fan base is getting a new coach and the other is stuck with a guy for another 5+ years. :(

This. How funny (and sad) for us both. I think Hawkeye fans are used to the up and down of a Kirk Ferentz tenure. Husker fans would just like to see an up year again some day.

All Iowa has to do is run the ball, and they win. This is a terrible team they're playing. The Huskers best win is Purdue - think about that - Purdue, and that was a miracle finish. We have laid an egg against everybody with a pulse. The team is not playing with any type of passion, and while it is the last home game for the seniors, I can't see that making any difference. Bottom line, we are the softest team in the B1G.

I have to think 75% of Iowa's offensive work this week will be running zone read. heck, if Stanley can't run it, wouldn't surprise me to see them go Wildcat all afternoon with two RBs running zone read left, zone read right. Our D-ends will suck in all night, or our LB's will fill the wrong gap. All they have to do is block a linebacker with their TE, and they go 8 yards minimum every play. couple of jukes on our DB's and it'll be off to the races.

The hell with it. It's The Hawkeyes. I want to beat them even if their bus breaks down or all of their players have the flu. Let's sent MR out on a winning streak. Go Big Red. p.s. If the blackshirts want to show up, that would be appreciated.
