Ref's are playing with themselves this half. Let's just blow whistles and call fouls. The one in Woodard was bogus. At that, Taplin is going to be a special player. He is so smooth on the dribble and it appears effortless for him...his handle reminds me of Harrington (I'll stop at the handle for now). We are starting to run at them as I think they have ventured further into their bench than they want and we're exploiting it. Iona's transition D is not very good

When we try to burn the clock on offense, it works about as well as a prevent defense against Tom Brady
Not really. We've taken plenty of shots early in the shot clock. Just haven't been hitting them.
English, 5 points at half. 29 now. Oh I wish we had a guy that could do that! Wr have to stop giving up leads. A senior led team has to know how to finish games. Absolutely no excuse for this being single digits
English pushes off with his off hand more than any player I have ever seen. Refs seem to have a man-crush on him as every time he has the ball we get a foul...
Watch Harrison. He does the same thing with his off hand on almost every drive. The refs seem to be letting that go but calling most of the hand checking.
The refs changed the way the game was called from the 1st half to the 2nd half. It's unfair to the players. 5 players fouled out, some in some ridiculous tic tac fouls. Dre's 5th gets called a player control foul if it's anyone but English with the ball. There were a lot of good things that happened in this game. Our D for 35 minutes was pretty good. English started forcing things and he hit some ridiculous shots and the refs bailed him out a lot. We had a ton of good looks in that stretch and couldn't hit layups, pull ups and some other shots that were falling earlier. We had some careless TOs late too after yaking pretty good care of it up until that point. Iona is probably one of the favorites to win the MAAC and they will probably get a 14 seed and scare the day lights out of a 3 simply because they can shoot the ball. Last 15 minutes of the 1st half was some of the best basketball we have played this season. Need to keep that up.
Happens every single game. Nothing called in first half. Everything in second half.
I was behind their coach going through security at the airport this morning. He ended up getting the full search of his bags. I said don't feel bad, it would have been way worse if you pulled out the win last night.
You couldn't have said this but, in a better world, I would tell him they were looking for all those f bombs he dropped last night.
