Takeaway... looks like it will be our weakness this year with the new guys as most of us expected. I understand that we're only a couple of days into fall practice, but when he says the D is behind rather than ahead, you can't help but be concerned.

It has to do with the number of starters returning. Why would he say that the d is ahead of the o at this point? IMO , there is no more concern than usual.
