Interior DL Depth Concern

With Ford out and Beamon leaving the team recently I think it leaves us with 3 guys who have real experience.

Maybe it doesn’t show itself with MD passing attack but I think will be big challenge. Almost think would be better to hopefully miss B10 champ game and focus on trying to get a W in first round of playoff.

No chance Franklin is calling Beamon to see if has change of heart is there?

this team does not need more games. they need rest and recovery. re DL where are players like Artis? big body 4* player in 3rd year.

With Donkoh out we're using Rucci who has struggled. Is it time for Cousins, Williams, or Birchmeier?

They will get atleast 4 guys into rotation against Maryland, we'll see who has earned reps. Artis looked improved in some early action this season, but behind 28 91 99 50 and 51. Artis and Ty Blanding should be up for the game, freshmen could get reps as well if they're healthy.

With Donkoh out we're using Rucci who has struggled. Is it time for Cousins, Williams, or Birchmeier?

Rucci has played pretty well from what I can see, he's just not excellent in his passing sets. I've been surprised to see so little of Jven Williams who looked to have elite feet.

When we played WVU we were absolutely dominant vs run game. we are not the same team now. Penn State DL is still very solid, and given Maryland's situation at QB they should be just fine against the run with aggressive LB support. I've been wrong before but I'll be very surprised if Maryland scores 3 touchdowns.

OL was collectively out of sorts early in the game, but Singleton had about 5 ypc. Rucci struggled some in pass protection but is solid all around. Not ideal to lose your starting RT at this point in the season but it could be much worse.
