Well that kind of blows up my post yesterday saying the opposite. Didn’t say he wanted to be “the man” only that he was probably more interested in success at the next level more than a title or deep postseason run. But if he has an interest in both I’m ok with that! I’m a big boy. I can handle being wrong. Only occasionally of course, lol.

Have you guys wondered why all of the schools he's showing legitimate interest to are SEC schools? Just speculating here, but I do think a good amount (not all) of his search for a new school DOES have to do with getting even more exposure than he's already gotten. Sure he played in the ACC, and NBA scouts already know of him, but if Kentucky isn't on ESPN/CBS, they are definitely aired on the SEC Network, which has a ton of eyes on it as well. I know there's the B10 Network, and a brand new ACC Network as well. The SEC and ACC Networks are owned by ESPN, and obviously, Blackshear has already played multiple seasons in the ACC... nothing else to prove there.
If the deciding factors are playing time and having the chance to win a championship, wouldn't Michigan State also be more in the hunt than a fringe team on the list? All that being said, I think he goes to Florida (Ugh). Guaranteed playing time, certainly a CHANCE to win it all, decent enough exposure in terms of TV time, and of course, the home team factor as well. Really hope I'm wrong.

Any word on a date to visit UK yet? If he is going to be at TN this weekend he will be right here seems like he would hop on over. Is there any date set for UK yet?
Heard from a friend we may not actually be getting a visit. Nothing set in stone, just having a hard time working it out because of the satellite camp schedule during the week and the Father/Son camps this weekend. Then they have the overnight camp next week. Cal and team are pretty busy obviously and KB is evidently exhausted by the process and wants to get it over with ASAP.
Not feeling as good about getting him as I was. Hopefully we get him on campus and things work out.

Surely... surely.. SURELY to God Calipari wouldn't allow some freakin' basketball camps to interfere with a recruit of this magnitude- assuming he wants him.

Not really fair to the people who have paid and taken off work to cancel or postpone them. The camps all seem to run 2:30 - 5:30, so hopefully they can work around that. Cal and team will also be on campus all weekend for the father-son camp. That would be a good enviroment for him to visit and see the connection to the community UK basketball has. He could also visit with players and coaches before and after.
I look at Blackshear as a need, I just do not have any faith in Richards. The people praising Richards for coming back might be setting themselves up for disappointment. So I can’t wait to see what Cal has up his sleeve if his classic line up doesn’t work.
I say it's between MI State, FL and UK. Personally I believe it's us. Can anyone name MI State players in the NBA at this moment that get talked about? Kentucky has since Cal took over.

No way in gods green earth would they not accommodate a top center transfer that could change the entire team. Hell, Cal is not at every camp and when he is it's for short segments.
He travels across the country making multiple stops to scope out talent and recruit.
You really think he will tell KB that the next 10 days won't work because he is teaching left handed layups, signing balls, and the team is doing push ups posted on IG?
