What's funny is that the kid he is talking about (QB Myles Brennan) hasn't been offered by State either. #MSUControlledMedia**And he's not even considering the in-state program that has offered him (USM).
They only have 2 gauging any interest from D1 programs and the other (a TE) didn't even try to camp with Ole Miss last summer, so I don't feel like he would feel spurned.
Plus the QB retweeted it.
So did the Tight End. Do you have an in on your info? Are you a bench spotter for one of the coaches? They only have 2 gauging any interest from D1 programs and the other (a TE) didn't even try to camp with Ole Miss last summer, so I don't feel like he would feel spurned.

Offers to D1 prospects at St Stanislaus: State 1, TSUN 0
Mississippi High School coaches need to take a minute and look at the 2016 Ole Miss signees. Ole Miss signed up 25 kids and only 6 are from Mississippi High Schools / JUCO. On the flip side, MSU signed 18 kids and 10 are from Mississippi High Schools / JUCO. (note Dontea Jones went to Prep School 1 year in VA)
OM actually signed 24. 6 were from MS. So 25%. MSU signed 18 and 10 from MS for 56%. AL signed 25 and 7 from AL for 28%. AU signed 21 and 5 from AL for 24%. South Carolina signed 24 and 6 from SC for 25%. Clemson signed 22 and 4 from SC for 18%. TN signed 21 and 3 from TN for 14%. One of these is not like the others.

Right, one of them has not been ranked #1 in over 50 years
And of 25 Florida signed 13 from Florida, Georgia 14 of 20, LSU 12 of 19, What's your 17'n point?
Right, one of them has not been ranked #1 in over 50 years
And FL is over 6 times larger than MS and GA is over 3 times larger than MS. LA is similar in size to AL and SC but only has 1 power 5 school whereas AL and SC have 2. I used AL and SC as an example because they're in the south, have 2 power 5 schools (like MS), and are somewhat close in size to MS. So my 17'n point is the 4 non-MS power 5 schools that share 2 southern states similar in size to MS sign a similar in/out of state ratio of players as OM.
Vanderbilt signed 3 of 20 in state. Kentucky signed 5 of 25. So the three worst teams in the SEC had high out of state percentages as did the 3 best teams. Some middle of the road teams high high percentage in state, some didn't. So again I ask, what is your 17'n point? And FL is over 6 times larger than MS and GA is over 3 times larger than MS. Am I the only one that finds the tweet dumb and only reflecting poorly on the coach? All he does is justify OM not wanting to mess with him over what are at this point in time are borderline power 5 recruits. If he's tweeting pissed off about offers prior to the junior camp circuit, he wasn't ever going to hold his tongue when guys get to school and have to go thru their lumps like everyone else. So instead of helping his kids, this type of thing actively hurts them in my opinion.
"Why is that Wisconsin, California and Memphis and all these schools have come here, checked them out and recruited them," Conides said. "Why haven't they done that?"
Damn. Scorched earth right there.
Lmao! The comment above shows the difference in our fan bases. What's really puzzling is you all want to talk about the past when it benefits you but if I were to bring up the egg bowl records you would ask why we're living in the past. Also, being ranked number 1 during the season is as pointless as being ranked number 1 preseason. I can promise you that y'all weren't ranked #1 because you had the best team in the country. If that was the case State would have finished the year #1. All it did was give the fans a false since of hope. Outside of "We Believe" there wasn't a single person that thought State would finish #1. That ranking had more to do with schedule than anything. If State would've played LSU at the end of the year rather than the beginning that would've been another loss. Half of LSU's starters were playing HS football a few months before. Even last year if State would've played LSU later in the season it would've been a much worse loss. On the flip side you could argue the same for Ole Miss. If we'd have played Alabama later in the year there may have been a different result.
