Still sticking with stuff you think you heard? Those voices may be caise for concern.

You're around 60 and this is crap you come up with? 3 words: Early onset dementia.

speaking of dementia, did you notice it has taken over as the number 1 killer over heart disease in the UK? my mother just passed away from it.

If you want to be a jerk, go ahead. The first hit I got on google was what I posted above. In the story it says this...

“Stoops has heart disease, and his father, Ron, died in 1988 at age 54 of a heart attack suffered while coaching a high school game. Stoops said his health was not a factor in his decision, and reports that he was ill were false.”

Happy now?

? Don't know whether to "like" your post or not. My sympathies. I've had several long time acquaintances diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers. Young women mostly. It's a terrible disease. There are several theories on why there seems to be so much of it now. Some of my colleagues think it's just because we're living so much longer. Some point to dietary aluminum which is potentially neurotoxic. Some point to use of pyrethroid compounds which can be neurotoxic. Every food storage system, grocery and house in America uses tremendous amounts of pyrethroids to control pests. Who knows. It's a bad deal and nothing to be joked about.

Dinglefritz, in his original post, stated that Stoops will not coach again due to “heart disease”.
The article clearly states that health was not a factor in his (Stoops) decision and reports that he was ill were false.
It should be clear to everyone, except for Dinglefritz and you, that Stoops will not coach again for other reasons than “heart disease”.

Nope. That isn't what I posted. Are you Tom's Wife's little sister? I said that it had been reported that he had a heart issue. I didn't say for sure that was why he wouldn't coach again. I said I think due to a heart issue. That's remembering from an article I had read SEVERAL months ago. That's a helluva lot more accurate than 99% of the crap on this board. A reporter suggested (and I suggested it in my post) that his dad's death at Bob's exact age may be a factor. He can deny it was the reason but anybody with any sense knows that you consider all things when you make a major decision like that. Somebody I think posted that he has a kid playing high school sports and wants to watch him. It would appear that he has lost some of the fire in his belly for coaching. In any case, you can stop dreaming. He isn't coming to NU.

What are you getting at? I didn’t say Stoops retired because of heart disease... yolobomb asked for a link suggesting he had heart disease. I found an article that said he had heart disease. I posted the link. I even quoted the article where it stated it wasn’t the reason he retired.

And you are now saying I think he retired because of heart disease, when I never said anything about that. I merely posted for yolobomb a link. You can keep reaching if you want, but don’t make stuff up please.

I don't know, Stoops ingrigues me as it would really light a fire under the fan base. We need a little controversy on here. Winking.

Seriously though, I have to hand it to Stoops, he puts out a great product. Offense & defense.

If Stoops came he would have to bring little brother Mike along with him. Mike makes Bo look like a nice, well-behaved man.

Disagree. Mike has never pissed himself on the sideline or berated an elderly woman in a parking garage.
