So what exactly is the point of the article. Does the fact that the population has earth population has double in less then fifty years and we are still here somehow prove that population growth is not an issue? That's conservative logic at it best. Since we are at 7 billion now and life is just great for the author in another 50 years 14 billion shouldn't raise any issue for humanity at all.

Didn't really read it did you nor the linked NY Times piece?

There is absolutely ZERO chance there will be 14 billion people 50 years from now. You believe the **** you've been fed for 40 years which was largely based on Ehrlich's fraudulent BS.
