looking in 5A while many good teams will be out in the first 2 rounds in different classifications one of these 4 teams King, Ag School, Lake View or Corliss will make it to the quarterfinals & I doubt they will get that far but if Morgan Park don’t choke this year they will play one of the 4 previously mentioned teams putting a CPS team in the semifinals

If Morgan Park doesn't choke this year?
They could loose in R1 and that wouldn't be a choke.

Yeah as usual, he is clueless. Crying about how many good teams will be out and a cps team will make it to the quarters. In other threads he complains all cps teams cant make the playoffs. I think he just wants to be able to take shots at more teams.

All.... Beat me to it when I was checking out Massey although this is the playoffs. Anything can happen.

St. Francis 34 Morgan Park 22 (70%)

Prairie Ridge 32 Morgan Park 21 (69%)

A potential round two game between the Spartans and Wolves according to Massey very tight. St. Francis 35 Prairie Ridge 34. (51%) Ratsy

I’ve forgotten more about football than you’ll ever know.

I think Morgan Park can beat St. Francis as Kenwood was up by 10 points with about 6 minutes left in the game against them in week 1. But they'd have to play disciplined and be on their p's and q's. The thing that killed Morgan Park last year in the quarter final game against Morris was turnovers. They had 4 fumbles in the first half, hard to come back from that against good and disciplined suburban teams, especially in the playoffs.

St Francis vs Morgan Park can go either way because of the talent and speed Morgan Park has. But if I had to bet money, St Francis beats them in a close game.

Either way, I think Prairie Ridge beats both of them.

I agree it can go either way a true pick'em in my eyes. IF SF wins I think they have a good shot against PR, in my mind it means SF is clicking. But again, who knows.

EDIT, yes SF struggled against a good Kenwood game in week 1. Week 1 is weird, I don't put a ton into it.

Something that’s often overlooked is the grass vs turn fields in the 5A bracket and home (grass/field) advantage. This also coincides with weather.

Luckily for STF they would get PR at home and not on a slow track.
