I’m gonna need an excel spreadsheet of who’s who so I can steer clear.
From what I can tell, the iowa fans try to subtly brag about what their team has "accomplished" over the last 10 years. But then when you ask them what that is, they don't have an answer.

I guess they do have the all time losingest Big Ten coach ever. Which goes to show just how sad that fan base is that they have accepted the fact that they can never win anything so they are okay with keeping a coach that has a record that will never ever be broken because no other school would ever keep a coach that long to lose that many games without winning anything at all.

For Io_a it boils down to a crisp fall afternoon in 1999. KKKirks coaching debut. A young man by the name of Crouch, wearing #7, murdered an Io_a db en route to a demoralizing victory. That DB was buried in that spot on the field, and remains there to this day. They will never overcome that.

Iowa fans for the most part are idiots. Iowa has never been relevant. Kirk went to the Bill Snyder school of schedule padding. 1/3 of his wins are VS teams like Southwestern Delaware State, Maine, and Northeastern Texas State. They try to copy the Steelers uniforms, and in all aspects the level of suckage is high throughout the entire state.

The weird part is how the fans are happy with being- at best- average.

Their AD (I am guessing) and head coach tricked the fans into thinking that they could never win a conference title or NC and that they were this "we need to do more with less" school and their sad fans bought it.

We've been irrelevant for about 25 consecutive years and counting. And it sucks.

Imagine being irrelevant for 120 consecutive years and counting.
That is the scary part. When you are that lame for 100+ years, you start to gush over that magical 8 win season.

Normal schools would have fired and hired new coaches by now but iowa is just happy to have the losingest coach of all time.

I don't get all of this. I got curious about the last 20 years, Iowa has won 11, Nebraska 9. The last 10 years Iowa has won 9, Nebraska 1, that would fit the definition of owning us I think. I don't about Kirk care and anything else in his program, I just want us to pound their rear ends into the ground. That will be all the talking I want to hear.

Remember, Iowa IS the definition of mediocrity that we’re trying to climb above since we fired Frank.
