No no no. We can’t all “form our own opinion” to substitute for facts. That’s not how truth works. I don’t get to say “I am of the opinion that today is Friday” and have it be held on the same level of possibility as the fact that it is Sunday.
This article you’ve linked isn’t an opinion, it is a flat out, demonstrably false assertion. It isn’t “interesting.” It is an objectively false article designed to make stupid people think it is “interesting.” It is designed to make stupid people think “we can all form our own opinion.” It is designed to make stupid people post it all over the place to try to get other stupid people to find it “interesting.”
That is their goal. Get stupid people to kind of sort of think maybe this is “interesting” and then share it with everyone. Sad to see they’re accomplishing their goal and that you’re such an easy target for them.
