Mr Meyer definitely sees the talent in Adrain Martinez (even with a rough week 1). If we where to take the word of anyone...it would definitely be Urban Meyer. He knows an elite Dual Threat QB when he sees one. Martinez had a great true freshman season and a rough week one game. We will see about 3400-3800 passing yards and 500-1000 rushing yards with probably 28-34 TDs and 8-10 INTs (he’s still young) from Martinez this year. My Adrain Martinez stat predictions for this season...GBR

And that’s a big understatement.

In that video breakdown Meyer says the decision has to be made in 1.2 seconds and that’s not happening if Martinez has to worry about a bad snap and stare down at his center and focus on ball to make sure it doesn’t sail over his head.

The snaps were fine in the 2nd half but Martinez still struggled with his reads. Hopefully it was just a bad game.

I'm just glad he remembers football - close call after all those recent memory issues and medication problems he was having.

lol. Some of you guys will learn as you age that this stuff actually happens. I had 2 cardiac issues primarily with long runs of PVCs caused by 2 different things. The first we figured out after about a month seemed to have been caused by the prescription anti-inflammatory Meloxicam for arthritis. It stopped after I read the label and discontinued the drug. In VERY small print it listed that as a rare side effect. The second time it happened was after a nasty upper respiratory virus (cold for you non-medical types). After a stress test, Holter monitor and about 2 months it gradually went away on it's own. I can also attest that when you're fatigued or under stress, your memory does falter. So again, not to defend Urban's dirty history, but getting old sucks.
