I live in North Carolina and every person I've talked to or heard on local radio is crying over the refs, every person. They truly believe they had the championship taken from them, it's been a good day.
I saw it both ways, but probably a little bit of a Nova lean. Any time a loss is within 5 points or less, the refs will always have something to do with it from the loser's perspective.
I did feel Meeks got a couple of bad calls. Diving for the ball just looked like a basketball play to me and the one under the rim with Ochefu that could've easily been a tie up before then. The end of the game block call was a gift to Nova, which I almost wish they hadn't gotten just so I could watch UNC lose the game after having the lead in the 5 seconds.
I also saw some contact on quite a few of Nova's shots that easily could have been and 1's while also seeing UNC get a few calls with far less contact.
UNC has no one to blame but themselves. They lost their identity. Very few break points and second chance points for them which is what got them there. Yeah they were hitting 3's and that's probably what they were working on in prep all weekend since that was what everyone knew was their weakness. In doing so, it seemed to relax them in the post. They had no business letting Nova dominate the paint like they did with height and athleticism advantage plus Brice Johnson.

"Stole" a title from them? What? They shouldn't even be allowed in the tournament, They haven't faced a single punishment yet and they want to cry about some "bad" calls? They won three bogus titles while breaking the rules.
Spoke with a long time friend this morning who is a referee, both HS and college, and had no dog in the hunt last night. He thought the stripes by and large did a good job. He said they missed certain things but were overall invisible, which is the way it should be.
BTW, UNCCheat fans whining about the refs is almost ironic enough to knock the Earth off its axis.

Calls went both ways. Roy was out coached by Jay Wright and it wasn't even close. Roy relied too much on talent and got burned.
