All about buying power, and Duke has more of it than most anybody.

Also I think Fox might have an issue if a BE school tried to do this on any large scale. Curious how UConn is allowed, because there was an article a few months ago that Fox blocked SJU from playing in the CBS sports classic which is a major OOC.

I'm not sure what FOX can do about non-home games. The rights package only includes home games as far as I know (and we have three other partners in any event).

If the game is in Storrs or Hartford -- different story. Although FOX would be within it's rights to sell off the game to Amazon.

EDIT: The reason SJU was blocked was because the CBS Sports Classic was scheduled for MSG. Apparently there is a clause in the contract that prevents a BE team from playing on a rival network within a BE city.
