INJURY UPDATES?

How about this list

Wheeler has now missed five games this season and six if he misses Tennessee
Frederick has also missed five game and six if he misses Tennessee

Last year….do we get to count Shady Sharpei missing all the games be sat?

The amazing 9-16 season….. Brooks while dunking in pro day misses 9 games in 25 game season. Terrence Clarke misses 18 games with a ankle sprain

The list of never ending injuries at UK that take a ton longer then most schools is year after year

But again I’ll ask…why no peep of an injury report coming into a huge game? Does the season matter so little ? I’ve seen nothing if Frederick has a broken rib vs bruised rib. Have no clue if wheeler has high ankle or turned ankle etc…but the season isn’t important enough to give a valid timeline…just an endless reason to not care when the coach doesn’t get the team to care
Feels like Wheeler has missed a lot more games than 5. Maybe it’s because he missed so many last year also, idk.

EDIT: Didn’t he play in a the game in which he was injured? Maybe it was at Ole Miss.

All I know is I don’t care how tired Wallace is, if Wheeler plays more than 12-15 minutes we’re losing.
UT turned us over 19 times last game without Wheeler. We are getting zero scoring wise out of Wallace with him running the point against good defenses. Wheeler can be a huge difference maker today especially without CJ.

You don’t know what “the list” is?

It’s a record of our head to heads; and all of our accomplishments. We lead in the vast majority of NCAA categories, and are top 5 more than anyone.

Calipari is really doing damage to “the list”. You’ve never heard of the list?

It’s why we’re seen as the greatest program of all time.

It’s a simple question… judging things as you see them, would you fire Calipari and bring in a new coach if you could?
Just terrible
Just plain stupid is what it is

Cal cult guy obviously. Doesn’t know what the list is. Takes up for Calipari. Doesn’t care if we win as long as Calipari is here. Won’t answer a simple question because he knows he wouldn’t fire him no matter how bad he is.

It’s gross. You’re not a UK fan. I’ll move on.

I don’t have any idea what flipping list your talking about but I do know just because some juveniles on a message board want a coach fired it’s not going to happen. I support the University of Kentucky and who ever is playing for them and the coach who ever it is so piss off jerk
You’re kidding right?

You're no UK fan. You don't really care all that much about UK basketball. Just admit it.

You’re the worst kind of fan.

He’s awful. Probably top 3 in the cult I’ve paid attention to him for a while. He’s a Calipari fan, just gross to me. This program has never stooped so low and fans like him need to find the pier. There’s not many left but he’s probably the worst.

With the horrible treatment he's gotten from a bunch of know nothing jerks who call themselves fans (I guess), I don't blame Wheeler for not playing. Maybe he's done here. If so, that's a real shame.
UK and it's fans have put Wheeler on a big stage and he's getting big NIL money along with it. Tell me again, where's the problem?

Hey Wheeler, put your phone down and man the F up.

He’s celebrating mediocrity, I have zero patience for fans like him.

He doesn't even know what the list is, what an ***.

I’m with ya, no patience for it at all. Willing to sit there and watch this program in a down spiral and wants more of it so he can see couch cow over and over. It’s gross.

Don't be obtuse or pretend you don't know what I'm talking about.

But even if we deserve better, that's on Cal. He ruined Wheeler's college career.

But that's not an excuse for how he's been treated. Frankly, it makes me sick.
He ruined Wheeler's career? How so?
Would Wheeler get NIL deals at Georgia?
The kid gets to put on a UK jersey and play every game on espn, how is that ruining someone’s career?

Well, Wheeler's *** hurts, so he's not going to play.

Wheeler and Fredrick are both soft. If you would have asked what two players would be injured down the stretch; it would have been easy to guess these two. Everyone is banged up by this time of the year, tape up and show up.

Maybe Wallace, but that’s it, he is playing through pain, Frederick & wheeler should watch what Wallace is doing and want to be out there to help and much as anyone can.
I hate these player bashing threads, and I don't like bashing players myself, but I'd just like to point out that Wallace only played 8 minutes in our loss to one of the worst teams on the schedule, at home, due to back spasms. You think back spasms are more painful than cracked ribs?

Wallace also sat out the Ole Miss game due to a "leg injury".

Fredrick tried to play against Arkansas with the cracked ribs. He worked hard but didn't contribute much and probably hurt the team by playing. But go ahead and bash him and call him soft for what is probably Cal's decision.

Back injuries are literally one of the worst you can have, I’m bashing Kentuckys handling of it, they said mild ankle sprain, that is not a sit out 4 games in jury, fredrick gets a pass, but could probably be playing by now

If you've never had back spasms, consider yourself lucky. I'd rather have all my ribs broken and both ankles sprained than to have back spasms.

Have you ever had back spasms? Obviously not.

I was out camping one weekend and had to go to urgent care. The spasms made it into my mid section. I was almost in tears.

I had to tow our RV home on Sunday, the pain got so bad I had to keep pulling over so I could lay flat on my back, or in a damn fetal position, sometimes in the grass near the shoulder of the interstate.

Back spasms can whip your ***.

I've had them, but I guess not as severe as yours. I've also had cracked ribs - hurt like hell when I coughed, sneezed, hiccuped, laughed, or even breathed heavy. And woke me up ten times a night - every time I moved.

The bottom line is, why do we insist on questioning players' toughness? All these guys want to win, and they want to play if it helps the team, and they probably don't want to play if it hurts the team.

Google “the list” if you want to learn how to be a non cult coach following fan of UK.

If you don’t even know what the list is, you’re not a UK fan. But you’ve proven that already.

yeeeea might wanna watch that. But hey, those special Calipari cult boys are indeed a special bunch.
He misspelled the same word twice earlier in this thread and I bolded them for him in my reply and HE'S STILL DOING IT.

He is probably one of those that can’t spell Ulis' last name right too.

Yea I’ve noticed. Which I don’t really care, but when you’re calling people stupid you might want to get your spelling straight.

No way he can spell Ulis’ last name right. I’m betting it’s Ullis.

Truly not trying to argue with you here or play naive. Obviously I'm aware that he's been criticized (I'm among the people who have thought he wasn't up to our standards for UK point guards and have said so). But I truly feel like most of the comments center on his play and I would say again that such commentary is within the bounds of sports fandom. Even on this board (which definitely turns ugly after losses and I'm guilty of that too) I don't think the player criticism is usually that insane.

If there's something specific that he's dealt with like hatespeech or whatever, I honestly must have missed it. I'm not playing obtuse. Just truly don't know what the focus of your comments is and curious for you to clarify if you have a moment.
