The last team that joined the Big 10 was Penn St and believe it or not they thought the refs ere against them even worse than you do. Yes teams do fake injury to slow play down and I down't like it but sh---t happens and will keep happening. Learn to win anyway.
Thanks for the advice, but I don't see a single person blaming the refs for anything, in this thread. Now run along.

But that would mean we could lose one of our guys for 15min for something small. I don't think it's worth it. If an injury is faked, the faker has to leave for the play. That seems enough.
But that is the rule now and it isn't working. Indiana got 6 free timeouts by faking injuries Saturday. I don't know the answer, but some teams are gaming the system for sure.

That’s another issue I have with the faking of injuries is that the coaches get to talk to the other players and correct issues. I would like to see the defensive player that takes a dive sit for that series. It was so obvious on most of the players, they were falling down just before the snap, they got up from the tackle

No. His shoulder popped out. He was wearing a strap. They popped it back in and the second time they couldn't pop it back in so he is having surgery.
Again, unfortunate that he legitimately was injured and experienced the boos. For 90,000 fans seeing multiple defenders down through the course of the game only to return, the fans don’t always get it right on real versus fake injuries.

Go ahead and say don’t boo at all, my response is don’t pretend to be hurt and then get butthurt when you get booed.

In all my years, I have never smirked or laughed at an injury, never. Last Saturday, It was comical, I had several belly laughs. The Hoosier qb took a vicious shot to his chest( heart area), he was truly hurt & never came out. If Frost’s up tempo offense contributes to false injuries hopefully officials will respond accordingly.
GBR!

This. There was a play later in the game where their DT #92 fell on the running back at the end of the play. DT then rolls over after the play and pretends the back just stabbed him. It was ridiculous.

I wonder if they practiced faking injuries. That would be interesting to watch.
