Harris looked ugly, but initial reports were ok. Vitals returned to the game. Did anyone else go down?
Harris looked like he was woozy when they were carting him out. Heard laceration on jaw but nothing else

Did anyone see Chubb's injury? I made the mistake of looking at it. Reminded me of the Patriots' RB from many years ago (Edwards?) who mangled his knee playing flag football on the beach.

Good. We need Vitale to have a chance against Iowa because he is the only guy consistently getting open. Carr has run down good routes and C Jones has made some good clutch catches too, but Vitale seems to be the main threat.

I hope G Dickerson can fill Vitale's shoes next year.

I would bet that Harris will have to sit out a game. It's one thing to be out for a second and then clear immediately, it is another when you can't shake it off. Brain trauma is tricky stuff.

Based on what has been reported about the injury, it was more scary due to the blood than concussive.

I was unable to watch the game live Saturday and when I first turned on the radio they were broadcasting that Harris was down and not moving with the cart having come out onto the field along with the body board being brought to the downed player. The announcers commented how the entire stadium had gone silent.

To hear shortly thereafter that Harris was sitting up on the cart was the best news. At that point it really didn't matter that the score was 31 to 0.

So glad to hear the encouraging continuing reportings.

Are you kidding? He was out could for a while and even as he got onto the cart he needed direction and didn't seem to be able to hold his head up.

This is an interesting discussion because we will know on Saturday. So much of the speculating we do goes unanswered.

I am not sure if Harris was concussed of if he lost feeling in his body momentarily. I think it might be the latter. I agree that based on the reaction on the field you would not expect him to play this weekend. That being said, I recall Harris experiencing a similar incident last year and surprisingly he was out there playing the following week.

Looks like Harris is OUT. He isn't on the 2-deep this week. Watkins takes his place. Keith has played well so far in a back-up role.

When you hear he has broken bones in his face, it can explain the caution.

Yeah! Now we don't get to find out how long he is out due to concussion. Poor us! Hope he doesn't need any reconstructive surgery.
Sometime I feel guilty enjoying the game so much when the guys who play it seem to be taken such risks.

LOST FEELING IN HIS BODY?
What would cause that besides a concussion? Neck injury?
