Is there a site with individual season stats? I found some stats on IHSA.org but not all teams/players are in there. Thanks

Whatever is on the IHSA site is what they got. It's all self reported so if teams don't submit stats to the IHSA you likely won't find them.

I just saw that the Rocket running back is at 1,631 rushing with 28 TDs. He's a STUD and has an legit chance of hitting 2,000 yards for the season. This isn't on the IHSA site so I'm assuming they haven't submitted anything to the IHSA.

Thanks for finding that. Bummer they are not reporting game stats. And Carley has those stats as a Junior! He is special!

Aaron Stewart from Warren is currently 8th nationally with 2634 rushing yards, and 7th nationally in TDs with 44

Looks like he's taking the Dergo route. Dominating on the field but choosing U of I wrestling over football.

He is elite on the mat. Breaking down rosters, anyone at D1 wrestling is much more rare than a football player. Three guys max at a weight, of those, some double up for multiple weight classes. You have to be a multi ywar champ from IL to go D1. Nothing on potential - all on what you have accomplished.

He's doing both last I checked
I did see that. My question is, how? Wrestling starts at U of I on Saturday and the football season still has a month or two left. If he plays the whole season and doesn't join the wrestling team until after the presumed bowl game then that's mid to late December and he would miss 5 or 6 wrestling meets.

I wish nothing but the best for him, but how does this work logistically? And that's without even getting into trying to practice for both and go to classes.

No idea. I'm guessing if he makes a good showing on football it will take precedence. Dillan Johnson did or does it at Wisconsin

Looks like that is what Johnson did. He never wrestled at Wisconsin.

He committed to the football program as a pwo. So i doubt he will be playing football.

Stewart is probably the best athlete in the state. He is the #1 175lb wrestler in the country. Per the above stats he is a top 10 stat RB in the nation.

With that said if he wants to do both in college he would would have been better off at a UNI, NDSU, SDSU.

No chance he can do both succesfully in the BIG.

Ben Kueter at Iowa tried to do both and has basically taken 2 years off of football to focus on wrestling. He is supposed to go back to football next fall.
