I don't think them winning was a fluke. Yes, the ending was strange, but the fact that they were already in the game is important to note. I can't remember what show I was watching when some of the talking heads were discussing the BIG, but one of the guys pointed Indiana out as a dark horse to win its division.
I just wish we had a real fans in the stands next Saturday to support our guys. But, I think we will be ready and will play well.

I can’t see Indiana beating OSU to win the division but it’s pretty amazing that either them or us will be 2-0 at this time next week. It might as well be us.
It's gonna be a tremendous game next Saturday. Beat Indy and we might actually RVs, dare I say it.

Not taking anything away from Indy but the stats were very interesting.

Namely:
PSU outgained Indy 488-211 and in TOP 40+ min to 19+ min.

PSU had 3 TO’s to 2 for Indy and also 10 penalties for 100 yds. Essentially the game broke just right for Indy to win it. Credit to them, they did.

If we come with the stout run D and do enough against the pass we can stay in the game. If our O brings it, we can definitely win.

Penn State's DE's had a field day against IU. Give credit to their QB he was under constant pressure. I am sure the D will game plan to create pressure as well. This is a step up from MSU but most teams greatest progress is from week 1 to week 2. Of course that would hold true for them as well. Confidence should not be an issue on either sideline. Should make for a great game.

Pennix and the RB Scott are both big guys and can take/deliver big hits. I think they were fortunate to win yesterday but either way they were going to be very difficult for us to beat this weekend. We are going to need to play better this week because IU is not going to help us the way MSU did.

"The left tackle on O had a bad game, granted Toney is good player for PSU."

He couldn't move his feet or bend his knees. Perfect for Toure. I'm sure the coaches will notice in film.

Yeah, if that left tackle doesn't get some help in pass protection against RU their quarterback is gonna be running for his life.

Indiana fan here. Pretty excited to play an improved Rutgers team. We honestly didn’t play well yesterday and still won. Penix has not played a game in over a year. He was rusty most of the game but really started clicking at the end. I would expect our O to get better as the year goes on. We were 22nd in the nation last year and they’re all back. Defensively we were really good yesterday. They got pretty exhausted and gave up some stuff real late but that is as fast and active as I have ever seen our defense and I’ve been a fan for 20 years. Great talking to you guys, you all had a goo

He was a great player last season. Moved from RT to LT because of a LH QB. It was his first game ever at LT and went up against Shaka Toney.

We switched our OTs. Wouldn’t be surprised if they switch them back. He’s a natural RT.

Before yesterday, just about everyone outside of the two fan bases had to have this week's matchup as two teams at 0-1. So, we both are flying pretty high right now.
I doubt either team will be taking the other for granted and I am hoping to see a pretty tight game score wise.

It’s going to be a good game.

I watched a little of the game and PSU had trouble running up the middle. We may see more sweeps, pitches and screens to counter that.
