They have a horrendous history in the Big 10 tournament. Look it up, it's laughable.

I'm hoping they make a surprise run to the final and the players rally around the coach. Even maybe an announcement from someone like Bryant or Blackmon that they'd return if coach stay.

That might create a misguided energy towards keeping Crean from the power brokers at IU. Wouldn't be nearly as fun without him.

Needs more time to get his recruits in There? For real! If they wanna keep him I don't care. He has energy, I give him that but aren't they borderline in making the 64? He has been there long enough to have his own recruits in place.

Jimmy Chitwood: I got something to say. I don't know if it'll make any change, but I figured it's time for me to start playing ball. But, there's just one thing... I play, Coach stays. He goes, I go.

Very good point. We are in this instant gratification society where everyone wants it now. Rome was not built in one day and Indiana basketball under Crean might take a lifetime but it will be worth it in the end. Leave Crean be and give him more time.

Donovan to IU chatter heating up. We'll soon know I guess. Crean is gone though. Interesting that Billy just sold his summer house in Gainesville right when rumors of him to IU started to break.

Crean is 3-8 in the Big 10 Tournament, and lost last year as the 1 seed to the 8 seed Michigan in the Quarter-finals. On the contrary, John Calipari is 16-3 in the SEC Tournament.

Tom crean should win b10 coach of the year by a landslide. He's an excellent coach, and expert for a few he doesn't recruit all Americans because he knows he can out coach anyone at anytime. They should give him atleast 5 more years to build his resume. If those 5 years I see multiple sweet 16 banners since he's a damn good coach.

This is funny too...
NewFor those of you who care, former Hoosier Hanner Mosquera-Perea and his East Tennessee State teamates are in the dance. Seems kind of ironic but there he is. He scored 12 in pretty limited minutes and doesn't look like he's gotten a whole lot better. Wonder if some of his other "former" teammates are headed there too?

Peter Jurkin is there too.

Lol. Donovan is not leaving Westbrook to coach iu. He would be better off coaching butler.

There is no credible source that Donovan wants out of the NBA. He's got plenty of time there and can bounce around the league as long as he's liked in the fraternity (which by all accounts he is). He's not a guy who jumps around and uproots his family as UK people have already seen.

Indiana "insiders" who have yet to even be named are running rampant on Pigs. It's nothing other than that. Unless Donovan wants back into college basketball now, it's not happening. And who the hell turns down Uk twice and ends up in Bloomington? Nope.

I still think it will be Greg Marshal when all the chips fall.

They need to sit an have a serious conversation...."it's not you, it's us"...which is a reality...they should keep him bc even before him they had only been past the sweet 16 once since 93. Crean did his job at keeping the program to its standard level..mediocre

Suddenly IU fans have a real liking for SEC coaches. THey would possibly take a former UK coach? They are the ultimate hypocrites. Their list is starts with Brad Stevens, Donovan, Sean Miller, Alford, Archie, you name it. They think they can roll out and grab anyone they want. I think Cream stays.
