Indiana Kentucky rivalry return?

Simple question. Given Cals good relationship with Alford, if ole Steve has some class and request a brand new home / home / neutral offer and revived series, would you as a fan like to see it back.

I would love to add IU to the schedule every year. Play the game every year at Lucas Oil and split the tickets like they did when it was at the Hoosier Dome. That was the best neutral site game in college basketball at the time.

The other suggestion would to be something similar to the old Big Four Classic (It was IU, UL, ND and us back in the day). UK, UL, IU and Butler. UK vs IU & UL vs Butler one year and UK vs Butler & IU vs UL the next. Saturday afternoon double header at Ford Field...total Final Four atmosphere.

I'd like to play KU every year on a home and home basis. Regardless of whether we play them in a classic or not. If we play them twice, that's ok by me. Love playing KU.

Meh, I just don't care to play IU in the regular season. It means way more to them than us. Truthfully, we hold all the power in this situation and if we were to ever renew wed have all the leverage.

Besides, there are other schools in Indiana Id rather play. Norte Dame, Purdue, and Butler...heck you could even throw in Ft. Wayne . It'd be awesome to have a neutral site game in Indy against any 3 of those schools.

Why Cowboy Stadium? There'd be less than 20,000 there and it would seem empty as all get out.

Do it at Lucas Oil and the new Falcons Stadium.

at one time IU/UK was a great rivalry, then we went on some tear - I don't know the stats but its was kinda like Louisville now where we beat them like 11 out 13 times.

I would like to see UK/UL/IU/UC (not so much ND) in games every year. But I have no desire to do a home and home with IU if their fans are going to go all Wichita State Coaches wife on us.

yea, and I think it was more about Clappy realizing he had no shot at beating UK on a neutral court with any acceptable regularity.

After the series was canceled, I remember they really struggled to replace that game with a high profile team. I think eventually it became UL? I'm not sure.

IU has permanently lost its "host UK" privileges after they stormed the court in December 2011. Alleged "elite" programs don't storm courts.

I would much rather see Cats play Butler in Indianapolis. Once every 2-3 years.
Butler and Notre Dame. Both teams are far better than IU anyway.
Don't mean in Hinkle fieldhouse but the dome in Indy would allow for bigger crowds.

also consider how playing a team like IU probably hurts of SOS these days more than it helps. They thought they could make demands after they beat us in 2011, and found out that the next year that they are not as elite as their delusional mind believed

Would love to see the old Big 4 classic brought back, with the exception of Butler replacing Notre Dame, which is now in the same conference with Louisville. Play it at Lucas Oil Stadium, have UK playing IU one year and Butler the next.
UK vs UofL would go on like it is now, home and home. Split the tickets 4 ways, big National TV office, win, win.
