Just finished watching the Indy win over NW. Indy was down 3 at Half and by as much as 10 (50-40) in the 2H at home vs. a 5-8 team. The Indy G’s are maybe slightly above average but not better than that. And inside... Johnson, Carter, etc. should have their way. Not looking past ILL, just mentioning as the game I just watched ended.

P.S. we should be NW by double digits as well.

I agree and have been thinking this for a couple weeks now .. and with Minny in the hole, a win against Illinois means things could start to get realllllly crazy ... absolutely massive game against the Illini

Keeps the home streak going, glad they won, Willl be there when we beat them at home. Last year was embarrassing.

What's missing from most of these teams is consistent defense because they rely solely on offense to win games. Until these teams put more effort into defense, they will continue to have up and down games. One game they can't miss and the next they can't p*ss in the ocean while standing on the beach. Coach Pike said it best, "Defense wins games. Offense just determines by how much."

Any home game this year is a very winnable or winnable game.

The key to the season will be pulling off some road victories.

They are not nearly as good as their record. Only slightly better than NW and Nebraska despite their record.
