Pitt (11-16) won in Chapel Hill, which is good. UNC-CH has a good record but has no Q1 wins.
Miami (F) won at Louisville, which is not good. Duke is the only lock from the ACC and it would be nice to see them get no more than 3 teams in. A Miami loss tonight (UL has a losing record this year, amazingly) would have helped.
BC, also a losing record, failed to upset ND in South Bend, losing in overtime. While it is hard to ever root for BC, a win by them tonight would have been helpful. ND's one really big win this season came over Kentucky in 2021.
Alabama eeked out a win over Miss. St. in Tuscaloosa. A loss at home would have been nice.
Our in-state neighbors to the north failed to upset UConn in CT.
Marquette defeated woeful Georgetown.
Lafayette won again, boosting RU's NET score.
St. John's won at Xavier, which is probably on the bubble. I doubt this win elevated SJU onto the bubble.
