I’m out completely if Ash is still employed after this season. Just proves again that RU does not have the stomach for big time college athletics. We deserve better.

I think this is the prevailing attitude, myself included. No one here is a front runner, we’ve all sat through quite a bit of misery over the years but there comes a point when enough is enough. If the school doesn’t show up, you can’t expect the fans to.
I left 2 years ago, mainly because of my son's sports. He's done now, but I'm not coming back for Ash. Bring in a top guy and I will be back. Go cheap and I'll wait and see.
This is the first year since 1981 I will not attend even a single game and that includes the Shea years
I'll drop from 5 tickets to 1 just to keep the points (as if they're ever going to come in handy).
Up in the air on whether to keep parking - we have 2 passes but would obviously only be able to buy 1 parking pass with a single ticket.

Will be out if Ash is back and may also reconsider my academic donation as well.

Have had 4 tix since 2003. Will decrease if Ash is back. Rest of family already dropped over the course of Flood/Ash.
In for 4. It'll be ten years next year. Another season like this one and I don't know if there will be 11.
On the fence. At a minimum, I drop down to 1 to preserve points but completely out is very much on the table. If this season taught me anything it is that Rutgers games + DVR = much happier Saturdays. If I'm completely out, I can't envision a scenario where I come back later as a season ticket holder.
I have 4 on the 40 yd line and a yellow pass this year, if Ash stays I am getting one end zone seat and a black pass to minimize what I give the school while keeping the points.
This thread is sad. All ardent supporters, long time season ticket holders, spring games, road games, bowl games, what a shame. I'm not confident that they do the right thing. Went to the PSU/Ohio st game this year, 110k fans and I swear out little stadium was just as loud and had just as much energy in 2006. We need that back!
After 15 years as a season ticked holder I dropped out after 2016. I'm back in if a new coach comes aboard.

Reached my breaking point I'm out -2 and a parking pass. If I want to go to a game next year, I'll buy them for $5 from a scalper.

How insane is it that most die hard fans are dropping some tix or all their tix? If the administration doesn't get that it's time to make a change, then they never will.
I had to give up my 2 UL tickets after 2016.
2 kids within 2 years (Jan 16, Apr 17) just left no time to get to games.
I sincerely appreciate the Ash Era.
When I get tickets again in a couple years I think my options will be greatly improved.
Side Note - did get to take my then 9 month old to the Indiana game. In 40 years he can come on here and say he lived through the Ash Era too.

I'm in for 2 just because my mother likes to watch the horse come out.
My kid is a freshman and it seems that a lot of her friends got season tickets to guarantee a ticket for the Penn State game. - I expect a huge student turnout despite the season. I'll renew her student ticket and my ticket. I can't get to all the games due to other commitments but I'll go when I can
If Ash is back, after 20+ years going from 6 tix 2 Scarlet PP to 2 tix + 1 PP. If the RU administration doesn’t remedy the national perception embarrassment and obvious economic downward spiral of its most important sport, why should I waste my money??

With all these folks dropping their tickets, it sounds like there will be no scalpers next year. You may have to buy tickets from RU at full price. Just kidding but maybe not from reading this thread.

Dropping from 3 to 2. Enjoy spending the day with my daughter. May buy an extra ticket for one or two games if wife or son decide they want to go.

I have gone from 7 at one time to 5, then to 3 this year.....will go to either zero or one next year depending on whether the priority points are important to me. No Parking Pass.
If I keep one, I'm moving it to the endzone for the cheapest seat possible.

Why are you surprised? Do you think Barchi cares if we return or not? Do you consider watching Rutgers entertaining?
As of now, still in for 2 endzone seats. May be upgrading from UMDNJ parking to a real lot. But the wife and I are both attending because we each think the other wants to go more than the other. All it takes is someone to blink and we just saved $550.
I'm going from 12 to 8 not because this debocle but because our situation has changed kids in college etc... Have to say game day experience is not conducive to building a fanbase.Thats the hard thing to deal with when long time fans leave no one is stepping up to replace them.I know a lot of people who won't go to another game because the antics at the gate or the parking lot. One bad experience is all it takes.

promote this program and "raise em up Rutgers" like Schiano/Mulcahy did 15 years ago. Build the brand again and turn this thing around.

Yes, but primarily to see and tailgate with people we don’t see during year. Probably go from 4 to 2 as girls are out of the house and in other states.
