The difference tonight was (especially) effort and shot selection (that last one for the most part -Collins had to send an additional message during tonight’s game, but did do early enough to make a difference.

Yes tonight was great effort and execution. Izzo had effort issues and the Spartans were flat (kind of like our 2nd half against Pitt). I still think Izzo is a great coach and wouldn't want to play them next. Great win earned by the players and coach.

With all respect to a solid Friars program, Michigan State is king of the hill in the Big Ten, while Providence might be the best program in Rhode Island.
