If there was ever a game we could use a huge home whistle advantage to help us out this is it. Refs could decide this game. Call a quick two on Smith instead of Myles

We also haven't been on the right side of the whistle against Maryland over the last 3 games.

Great team win against the number 9 team in national rankings and number one in the B1G.This was the 10th B1G win for Rutgers and first against Maryland.Rutgers finishes the regular season with a record of 18-1 at the RAC which is incredible.Big shout out to Young for the first half scoring spurt.Baker and Mathis also made big shots,Johnson came alive in the second half with some baskets and foul shots.Fans now wait to see the impact of win on NCAA seeding.

Marquette drops a one point game to DePaul. Bad loss for their seeding even if they were near safely in. Maybe they are sliding towards the bubble.

FWIW I am looking at an ESPN bubble watch list for teams to check on.

lol...Sooners miss 3 of 4 free throws at home, down the stretch, Texas hits 3 to win the game. Texas moves very close to last in, while Oklahoma losing makes them a last 4 in most likely

Not necessarily a bad result though for RU as we remain now above both. OU could be odd man out.

I wondering if Purdue jumps RU in the NET..a road win at Iowa might do it....they could actually sneak into the top 30...interesting

Unreal choke job by OU. Rutgers is not catching breaks. Bubble teams winning everywhere. Will have to play their way in.

wrong...Oklahoma not good for their resume....either or would have been good....prefer to not have Texas in the mix but knocks OU now

Oklahoma's resume isn't that good. They didn't beat a tournament team in the non conference and got swept by Baylor and Kansas.

WVU survives. I think the B12 gets five teams and Texas took Oklahoma's spot tonight.

quite frankly the SEC is trash.....Tennessee might appear on the bubble now. I am convinced this is the weakest of the 6 conferences...worse than the Pac 12

Kentucky can kiss that 2 seed goodbye

Ironic, when you consider it wasn't too long ago that we were matched up with them as mid-level seed.

From most to least important.

Dayton
at Rhode Island - This is like our game against Maryland. If URI wins this one, they're feeling safely in. Without this, they're sorely lacking a signature win.

LSU at Arkansas - The road loss to Georgia knocked Arkansas from in to out. This would knock them down to needing a huge SEC tournament run. Their last game at Texas A&M isn't a needle-mover, so this is their big chance.

Minnesota at Indiana - The Hoosiers probably need to win their final two... They can maybe survive a loss to Wisconsin but not a loss here. Indiana won at Minnesota and has a lot more to play for.

Xavier at Providence - Honestly this is a toss-up. Both are on the 10-line in Bracket Matrix but Providence is lower and a home loss is more damaging.

Clemson at Virginia Tech - Clemson is on the very fringes of the bubble and could get in by beating VT and GT to close the year and claiming a big win or two in the ACC tournament. A loss here means they'll probably need to win the whole thing.

Northwestern at Wisconsin - Want the Badgers to stay Q1.

Villanova at Seton Hall - SHU can wrap up the Big East outright and give our win even more cred.

Virginia at Miami FL - Virginia is very safely in and probably a lock but a bad loss here cheapens NC State's win over them a bit.

Florida at Georgia - Florida's also probably a lock but the path to their missing out includes this loss. Even if they're in, a Georgia win further weakens the top of the SEC.

Bryant at St. Francis PA - Doesn't matter at all but these small-conference tournaments are one of the joys of March. Might as well root for a team that we're a bit familiar with.

I think Providence is ahead of Xavier and the only thing that will trip them up going forward is if they they lose and lose first round BE and finish 17-16. ...I will root hard for Providence over Xavier. Xavier really only has a couple of quality wins and I think Butler is next. If they lose both of these I think they are in serious trouble.

The Rhody game is huge. No one has beaten Dayton in A10 play. If the Rams lose I think they are all but done..ditto for Arky vs LSU

Minnesota knocking Indiana would be huge right now. If the Hoosiers lose both games they are in trouble.

Those 4 are the biggest games of the night

Do you see Northern Iowa and ETSU as the only teams from one bid conferences that could get an at large? Curious who you think we need to root for in conference championship week. No bid stealers this week!

yes but we need Dayton, Houston, San Diego State and the 3 from the WCC to win their tourneys too because all of those schools are in anyhow
