Imaginary border walls are apparently very effective.

“Despite the large Caravans that WERE forming and heading to our Country, people have not been able to get through our newly built Walls”

Mexico gave us imaginary pesos to pay for them.

Keeping those free loaders on the other side helps our country's bottom line. It does pay for itself.

I hope the Dems tell Trump no on any funding for the wall but they will try and negotiate. Huge problem I have is the ridiculous and false spin that if you aren't in favor of paying and building Trump's wall, you are in favor of open borders. That is a huge lie like everything else spewed from Trump and Trumpers. Better ways of securing the border along with other important aspects of immigration that needs addressed. But that will be ignored by Trumpers in order to further divide the country.

Trump said that he'd build a (additional sections) wall and Mexico would pay for it. Americans will wait forever for both to occur because Trump is a great big liar but you knew that.

I think you may have inadvertently told the truth here. The imaginary wall cost nothing and the imaginary benefits are worth nothing, so the imaginary benefits do pay for the imaginary wall.

WELL DONE!

Those illegals take from our citizens when they go to the ER and that's stealing since they are here illegally. One free loader already had a baby, who do you think pays for that? Bernie?

You don't have to have an $80B wall to do this.
Machine guy nests are much cheaper. Trouble is, anti American politicians are always getting their turn to let in as many illegals as they want. The wall isn't discriminatory, keeps them all out.

Idiots like you think that open borders help this country. I guess all those **** hole areas in Europe aren't evidence enough of what people from **** hole countries can do to a great country.

Only idiots want people to come in here freely, use up medicaid, have babies, more welfare, more votes for socialist liberals, more debt, we already have enough. I have enough people already here that my tax dollars have to support.

You realize those tax dollars these people are using up may be used up by Trump to build the wall.......and still not completely keep out those that use up your tax dollars......[roll]

The United States is not setup like Europe is geographically and political borders. We have Mexico and Canada. They have dozens of nations close enough to cause potential problems. BIG difference.

Keep those people on the other side. The wall will pay for itself. I know you liberals want more people on welfare and to vote for your favorite socialist so you can destroy our country but some of us don't want to lost this great place. If you don't like it, move to a country you like. Venezuela would love to have you. They are running out of dogs to eat, you would make a nice meal.

Explain how it will "pay for itself". It comes from OUR tax dollars. The same tax dollars you claim illegals are tapping in to. Plus, the wall will not 100% keep illegals out.........

It's like heating your house. You want it warmer. Tired of your electric bill from your electric furnace. So, you go buy an electric fireplace and crank it on high and your house is nice and toasty! Oh, what about that electric bill?

Let's keep it that way. Apply for legal immigration.

I agree, the problem though is that Dems don’t seems interested in those alternative solutions either.

Maybe the GOP should have just funded the wall while they had all three chambers and the votes to do so.

Perhaps Trump should have just paid "hush money" during the campaign to the wall and everything would have been fine by now!!!!!

And make it impossible to do that easily! Like the bald faced ******** xenophobic goal of the racists isn't to keep out anymore non white folks.
No, has no value to do it easily. We have too many people here to absorb anyway. Takes time to assimilate all of them. If you want to sponsor some, pay for all of their bills, call the state dept and offer.

Couldn't be more wrong. But that is typical. Work hard at staying your own opinions instead of making up ******** and claiming that is how others think. So Trumpian of you.

Sure, I don’t think the support was there for it though. Not sure what this has to do with my post though.

How long would it take to realize $5Bil via the renegotiation of NAFTA? The renegotiation is going to cost the two bordering countries that should pay for the wall. Trust some refining of bilateral agreement would hold Canada harmless.

Immigrants in the U.S. Sending $120B Back Home
Immigrants working in the United States sent $120 billion back to their home countries in 2012, according to reports. More than $23 billion went to Mexico, $13.45 billion to China, $10.84 billion to India and $10 billion to the Philippines, among other recipients, The Daily Mail reported Thursday.

remittances | Geo-Mexico, the geography of Mexico
Remittances (the funds sent by migrant workers back to their families) are a major international financial flow into Mexico. Remittances bring more than 20 billion dollars a year into the economy, an amount equivalent to 2.5% of Mexico's GDP.

Michele Bachmann Proposes 100% Tax On Money Sent Home By ...
"What I believe we should do is have a 100 percent tax on remittances, the money that illegal aliens send back to these countries." "What we have to recognize is this truly is a war against the American people," she added. Bachmann made the same suggestion to CNS News last week. Of course, many legal immigrants also rely on sending ...
