...that the officiating is never going to be fair enough to allow UK to ever win another title.
I watch these UNC, Duke, and Kansas games, and the bias becomes bigger every year.
College basketball has become more corrupt than any major sport.
Hell, we can't get a fair whistle at home against BFE.
I guess the Duke/Portland St game last night was the final straw. That was so blatant is was an embarrassment.
I agree. For Cal to win another he is going to have to pull off a miracle like we almost did in 2014. I use to think if we had another clearly dominant team like 2015 that it would be enough but after watching the debacle last year with the biggest cheating university that flew in the face of everything the facade of NCAA stands for get bailed out against Arkansas and then 4 of our starters in the bench within the first 5 minutes of the game and them wiping multiple baskets off the board as well, I'm convinced that the powers to be won't let it happen. That blatant corruption doesn't occur by chance without an order.
Ultimately it starts with Mark Emmert and won't change until he is gone. That's why the selection committee screws us over and over, that's why we get the short end of the refs, that's how we continuously get screwed by unbelievably bad calls at critical points in big tournament games when the game has already leaned in the other teams favor.
In the military we call it "commanders intent" the leader doesn't have to give a direct order every time and control every aspect, but If the subordinates know what the desired end state is then all decisions and actions taken are in effort to reach the ultimate intent. He doesn't individually place us in a bracket but the people that do know the deal. He doesn't assign officials but the people that do know the deal. And when we overcome those obstacles is when someone give a direct order that results in a blatant screw job like last year or like a jump shooting Wisconsin shooting 12 more free throws and a blown shot lock violation at a critical point before Wisconsin was about to be in desperation mode.
