I can say without a doubt the SEC has the absolute worst ref crews in America. To say their calls were bad is like saying Augusta National is a muny. The SEC office should be ashamed of themselves for putting these fools out on display.

Between the questionable calls, the flops and 2 Auburn players colliding to produce a call on Brooks. The officials single handedly fueled that Auburn run
They tried to tighten the spread obviously.
The earlier call on Brooks was bad followed by the Askew foul. Pretty sad really. Then the foul at the end, or was it?

I am with ya OP. Our record may indicate we are on track for worst season in modern era but this isn't the worst team. We have 6 losses that were essentially decided by a possession. I firmly believe if this team had the benefit of a normal season they'd be in a much better spot. They don't and this is Cal's system so no excuses...I just don't think they are the worst by any stretch.
These guys deserved a win, they have made strides and just haven't been able to close stuff out.

That foul call on that last 3 was specifically intended to not allow us to cover the spread. SEC refs are crooked.

As someone who had UK at -3 1/2, I feel violated. That was a bad beat all the way around. Thank the Lord we won the game, or I'd be shopping for a new tv this weekend.

This is a joke, right?! Even my Wife was going off about the refs in this game. She is by far the most rational person I know in regards to officiating. It was badly one sided.
We couldnāt believe they allowed that Auburn player to get away with literally hanging on the rim with one hand and tipping the ball with the other. It was one of the last couple possessions of the game for Auburn. Was obvious and wasnāt called. That call is made 100% of the time on Kentucky.

As much as I have been frustrated with this season, UK going on a run after this debacle would be some kind of mojo for sure.

Agreed. I donāt see it happening. But as I said in another thread, things have changed over the last few games. This week will tell a lot. If they can sweep Vandy and UT on the road, things become interesting. Which is more than we could have hoped for two weeks ago.
That was scary bad and the 3 blind mice almost cost us back to back games at home. College BB officiating is so bad. Glad for these kids to breakthrough finally. They have kept at it and are working hard and fighting so glad for them to get a win. AUB is the perfect one to put the slide to a stop. Sorry fat Brucy! A lot of teams breaking bad records against our cats but not Brucy LOL. 19 years now at Rupp. The refs almost helped him to an underserving win but these cats wouldn't be denied today.
