I don't know about anyone else but I feel bad seeing OM, ARK, and MO starting fresh and getting new systems. I look at us now and all we have is the brilliant know it all slug-head to coach us again another year... I'm still having a little hope though BC.

Can we have a separate board for these threads? I feel like I’m Bill Murray in Groundhog Day.

Get over it. He isn't leaving. How hard is that to comprehend ?? If you are jealous of Arkansas you should be disgusted.

Yeah because the last two "new systems" at Ole Miss and Arkansas worked out just great didn't they?

Seriously though, 17 Kiffin. He might get them to a Music City Bowl or even an Outback Bowl if things break just right but really what has he ever really done as a head coach other than have one decent year at USC and beat up on some C-USA teams?

Not a big fan of Moorhead but Kiffin is the most smoke and mirror coach in America which is just perfect for being in Oxford.

Why? Next year is a realistic put up or shut up.

3rd year for Moorhead + New coaches at Arkansas, MO, OM plus Kentucky being Kentucky sets up for a 4 SEC win baseline. Take care of those plus OOC and you are expecting 8 wins. No “it’s too soon” or “but what about suspensions?” to use as an excuse. This is as down as our SEC schedule is ever going to be so we must capitalize.

8 wins we are happy. Anything less, you have a very objective case to kick his *** to the curb and join the fresh start club. Just let it play out.

Yes, would be nice to have a special place for these posts, like the trash can (after the hundredth identical post).

You can make it happen, Mr. 64 posts guy. Call And offer 10 million to pay everyone off and they will pay attention to your "hard to comprehend" feelings.

We could very well win 8 games next year though right now I seriously doubt it. Problem is will we still get blown out and look like complete garbage in the big games though?

Probably wouldn’t unless we had a guy lined up ready to go.

But I doubt we win 7 or 8. My only point is the expectation should be 8 with the schedule we have and the change happening around the league. When we win 5/6 as I suspect we will with our garbage offense, then it will be easy to get rid of him and make the change that most everyone appears to want.

if he does his job and figures out how to be a savant again, then I will happily take the 8 and sing his high praises. If you want to move the line to 7, that’s fine but I’d be disappointed with 7 based on scheduling next year. A good coach figures out how to win 8 next year.

Our schedule is not down. We have the #8 schedule in the country this year (toughest SOS since 2009) and two of the worst teams in that SOS are getting better coaches. Our SEC East rotation team last year, this year, and next year and our non-conf opponent this year all got better coaches, too.

Half of our SEC slate is against bottom tier SEC teams. OM/Ark/MO are terrible and will have new coaches. Kentucky is Kentucky. If you are arguing that part of the schedule is a challenge and that we shouldn’t expect to win those 4 bc it is difficult, then we need to fire the coach now or let’s get out of the SEC bc it’s never getting easier than that setup.
